The Driftwood is a gorgeous home that lives up to its spectacular location on a cliff above Bella Beach, a dynamic, pristine section of coastline framed by Cascade Head and Boiler Bay south of Lincoln City. You enter the home to a serene foyer leading to a suite of bedrooms on the ground floor, each one painted in shimmering cool sea-glass greens, blues or greys, with premium mattresses and bedding, high ceilings and solid construction promising sound, rejuvenating sleep. Two king suites include beautifully appointed bathrooms with walk-in showers; one opens to a covered porch with a hot tub overlooking the sea. Ascending the stairs, you arrive at the heart of the home, an elevated great room with banks of large, traditional windows with soaring views over the rooftops of the surrounding homes and out to miles of magnificent, sparkling ocean. Summary: This is a beautiful home that looks just like the photos. Gorgeous views and easy access to a wide-open beach. The home is very well laid-out for a large group, with plenty of room for cooking, eating and socializing together, but still with room for individuals and smaller groups to find quiet spots. Beds are comfortable, rooms are well-insulated so it's quiet, and with a few small exceptions, everything seemed to be well-maintained and stocked.

Summary: I traveled to the coast with 6 girls for a weekend away. The house has such a beautiful view and is conveniently located in between Lincoln City and Depot Bay. The kitchen had anything you could ever need to cook. The hot tub was great with a view of the stars on a clear night. Bedding and linens top notch. Would stay here again anytime. Great Value

Summary: Everyone in our group commented on how much they loved the house. It was so bright and airy, with spectacular 3-sided views of the ocean and great acoustics for listening to the sea at night. It was very well stocked for cooking our own meals, with the only items lacking being a tea kettle, tinfoil and a broom. It was a wide array of appliances, spices and seasonings, baking dishes, plates and silverware. The only downside to the kitchen on the second floor was the difficulty of hauling food/supplies up the stairs. For that reason it is also not very easy for people with disabilities to reach the main floor. This is made clear in the description, so it is not the fault of the vacation home, simply something to be aware of as you consider this property. Another thing to be aware of is that the oven does not get very hot and it took much longer than normal to cook food. But again, everyone in our group, loved this house, and I would absolutely book it again for a large group. I should also mention that the games, puzzles, books and movie collection was immense, and I wished we had more time to enjoy it all! Our group ranged in age from 4 to 72, and it was a great house for every demographic except handicapped.

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was everything we wanted and more. Very well stocked kitchen, though we never located a pitcher, but we improvised. Plenty of beds. Had an unexpected media room, but the cable wasn't hooked up and neither was the DVD player, so we just used it as another bedroom since it had a sleeper. We received a text about noise level after 10pm around the fire pit, there wasn't one so that was no issue. Beach access is jus a block or two. Thank you for letting us enjoy the house.

Summary: The home was so lovely. Very accommodating for a large family. Easy access to the beach. Views were breathtaking. You could fall asleep listening to the waves from each room. Our bed was extremely comfortable. This is a great find and we so enjoyed ourselves.

Summary: Overall a positive experience. As one other review noted, and was important for one family member, there is one bedroom and one bathroom on the main living level, which is one flight up from the entrance. All other bedrooms are on the lower level. The house is newer construction so we were surprised the living room and primary suite, both of which face the ocean, had such small windows facing the water. The gas fireplace was great in December. We would recommend the home to others.
