Positive: The motel itself is fine it’s a nice building with great views, clean & comfy bed and it was good having the basics in the kitchenette. Great view of the mountains.
Negative: As for location, it is convenient if you have a car. There are no shops cafes or supermarket etc. in the immediate vicinity, you have to go to the town centre or further depending on what you need. There is a slightly steep incline from the town centre up to this motel which if you are walking with luggage is not fun 😂 not the Motel’s fault obviously but just something to be aware of. Another thing to be aware of is that there are pets on site, a placid friendly dog and friendly cats that all do their own thing which I personally loved but again just something to be aware of incase you’re not a fan or have allergies.
Summary: Nice place to stay, maybe even nicer in Summer & with a car

Positive: Very good winter pricing. Easy parking. Although in the car this time, this is our go to when we bring our motorcycles. Not super close to Main Street but there’s a very good shortcut to them. Lots of sky channels.
Negative: The shortcut is very steep uphill after a few drinks.
