Positive: The location of the apartment, the size and the view from the balcony to the lago maggiore.
Negative: I think that even if both things were written in the booking description, they can be both improved: First is that the towels and bed cloths are for an extra charge, I think that an apartment of that standing should include a set per bed available and include this in the total booking price and not as an extra charge The second is that a checkout at 10am is steep! Normal checkouts at hotels are at 12:00. Should be the same in an apartment.
Summary: Good apartment with wonderful views but with room for improvement.

Negative: We knew linen wasn’t provided, so we brought our own. Was surprised to discover other basic essentials were not provided such as garbage bags, dishwasher tablets, dish soap, toilet paper (1 roll for 7 people over 3 nights), or bath mats.

Positive: The view was exactly as represented. It was gorgeous! The apartment was spacious and very clean. It was very interesting to be in an apartment house where people actually lived full-time.
Negative: There was an up charge for “linens and towels“. The packet included one sheet and one pillowcase per person, two not great towels and a roll of toilet paper. I found this very strange. Also be prepared that you have to make up the beds yourself.

Positive: The property is at a very good location, close to the town center, restaurants and bars and to the lakeside. Close to the supermarket and to the train station if someone is arriving by train. There is a lovely path all along the lake with a lovely view. The house is well equipped with everything, there is also WiFi (I’ve read someone saying; before there wasn’t one) The garage is tiny, I have a small car, but decided it’s far too difficult to park in, but there is plenty of room to park on the street at the front of the house. Recommend going to see the islands by the boats. Isola Bella is definitely the nicest; with its little market and the house and the gardens well worth seeing. Isola Pescatori also nice with its little streets. On Isola Madre you need to buy the ticket to see the house and gardens, otherwise there is nothing to see or there is no free area to walk.
Negative: The only thing I could say is the garage. Very awkward to park in.
