Summary: Il Colle is superbly situated on top of a round hill, surrounded by mountains. The view is absolutely magnificent. Lots of hiking is possible nearby, although it takes a while to reach the different starting positions, driving faster than 30-40 kmh not being possible on the small mountain roads. The only thing we experienced as really annoying was that (because of those small and sinuous roads) many drivers were constantly honking in order to alert possible oncoming vehicles. Especially in the morning and evening hours, in spite of being surrounded by nature, it was a lot louder than in our home city of 130.000 inhabitants. Nevertheless, we can absolutely recommend this place to anybody who is looking for two weeks hiking in the Alpi Apuane!

Summary: Fotos in Ausschreibung sind wohl vor ein paar Jahren angefertigt worden - aktuell sieht das Haus innen und das Terrassenmobiliar doch deutlich in die Jahre gekommen aus, keine Sitzauflagen für Gartenmobiliar (Bänke leider schon abgenützt bzw. etwas defekt). Der Sauberkeitszustand im Haus ließ klar zu wünschen übrig: Kühlschrank aus, d.h. viel Tauwasser im Gefrierfach und auch Schimmel in den Gummis; in den Zimmern einige Spinnweben und tote Insekten (z.B. auf den Fensterbänken); die untere Dusche wollten wir gar nicht benutzen, die obere hatte einen neuen Duschvorhang, aber an den Kachelfugen und an den Rändern sehr viel Schimmel und schwarzer Altseifenschmutz, so dass wir erst einmal einen Badreiniger gekauft und geputzt haben. Waschbecken und Bidets waren sauber. Betten ok., Handtücher mit Weichspüler (= trocknen schlecht) - das ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Nur 1 Geschirrtuch. Die Ruhe und die Rundumsicht draußen ist super. Die Verständigung mit Sig. Poli auf Englisch etwas schwierig (eher mit seinem Bruder mgl.), auf italienisch ok., unkomplizierte Übergabe. Insgesamt: Preis-Leistung unseres Erachtens nicht stimmig.

Summary: Dit vakantiehuis staat op een werkelijk betoverende plek. Het uitzicht is magnifiek en verveelt geen seconde. Voor natuurliefhebbers en rustzoekers is dit een geweldige plek! Hoewel er aan de achterkant van dit vakantiehuis nog een vakantie-appartement is, heb je helemaal geen last van eventuele andere gasten. Ieder heeft een eigen terras en een eigen appartement. Het enige wat je deelt is de poort en de wasmachine (super fijn dat er een wasmachine was ook). Wij hadden het geluk dat we vrijwel ons gehele verblijf de enige gasten waren en hebben dus pure rust en ruimte ervaren. De Italiaanse eigenaar Christian spreekt niet zo heel veel Engels, maar met behulp van wat gebaren en Google translate kom je een heel eind. Het is een ontzettend vriendelijke en behulpzame man die om de andere dag even kort kwam om hout bij te stoken voor het warme water. Hij gaf ook ruime tips over de omgeving en was bij alle vragen direct behulpzaam en loste mankementjes vlug op (de douche liep bijvoorbeeld op dag 1 niet goed door, op dag 2 was het verholpen). Ook de ene dag dat we noodweer hadden, was hij erg behulpzaam en stuurde zijn broer Maurizio langs om de stroom weer op gang te brengen voor ons. Er was WiFi aanwezig, maar dat was redelijk instabiel. Omdat ik wel echt 1 dag stabiel internet nodig had voor een online cursusdag, hielp Christian hier ook weer door de gelegenheid te bieden mijn laptop met een internetkabel aan de router te verbinden. De router stond in een apart hokje waar de schoonmaakspullen etc. stonden, wat normaliter niet toegankelijk is voor de gasten. Hiermee heb ik mijn online lesdag goed kunnen volgen! Wat ook fijn was is dat we halverwege ons verblijf (totaal 12 dagen) een tas met schone handdoeken en lakens kregen. Kleine minpuntjes waren de vele insecten, het ietwat harde bed (wat we zelf oplosten door een paar dekens onder het hoeslaken te leggen, daarmee lag het prima) en de wat krappe douches (sowieso is het huisje gemaakt op de lengte van de gemiddelde Italiaan, niet de gemiddelde Nederlander). Voor luxe moet je niet hier naar toe gaan, maar als dat niet je grootste behoefte is dan maakt de fantastische ligging van het huisje alle minpuntjes ruimschoots goed! Wij hebben ontzettend genoten en zouden deze plek aan iedereen aanraden. Ook onze hond heeft genoten, het is een hondvriendelijke plek. Let wel op als je een hond met een jachtinstinct hebt, vooral 's avonds moet hij dan aan de lijn, want er zit wel wild in de omgeving. We hebben herten en dassen gezien in de avonduren rondom het huisje.

Summary: What a great place to spend a holiday. Spectacular 360 degree view over the mountains and total quietness. Never experienced such a spot before. The house is well equiped with good beds. We will certainly come back.

Summary: We had a great holiday! The area is awesome for hiking and canyoning (only a few kilometers from the house are two spots!). The view from the house is fantastic. The house is very clean and the kitchen is sufficiently equipped two rooms and two bathrooms. Christian was kind and very helpful. He really takes care of the house and visitors. Overall I would really recommend the house!
