Lovely, cozy home in a great neighborhood. Short train or bus ride to San Francisco. Albany/Berkeley is a vibrant town filled with restaurants, theaters, music and art. Walking distance to public transportation, restaurants and shops. Running/walking path nearby. There are 2 bedrooms, one bath - very comfortable for a family of 4 or 1-2 couples. Sunny deck and lovely patio. Beautiful garden to enjoy!!

Summary: I rented this for my parents when they were in town. It's ideally located on the North Berkeley/Albany border, close to shops and restaurants. The place was well-appointed with a full kitchen and comfortable living area. Nancy was very responsive and great to work with. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners clearly love their home and take great pride in it. It is quiet and peaceful, uncluttered and well-appointed with all life’s necessities and many creature comforts. The location is fabulous. In easy walking distance are groceries, small little shops like a butcher, fruit & vegetable market, coffee/tea/chocolate shop and bagel shop just to name a few, tasty breakfast/lunch/dinner places, coffee shops and more. There’s hardly need for a car because so much is close but if you want to go further, the bus stops close by and two BART stops are not far away. The house is located a block from the northern Berkeley city line which makes it close to all that Berkeley has to offer. We stayed in this house for a month and it quickly became our home. The owners are friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We would stay there again without hesitation, as often and as long as possible.

Summary: My wife and I stayed at this lovely Berkeley home in June of 2014. There were clear instructions on how to get in. The house was clean and very nice. Working washer/dryer and exercise bike also enhanced the experience. The owner is very flexible and extremely quick in returning texts/emails, even though she was out of state. Microwave/disposal/fridgte/freezer/stove/oven all in excellent working condition, and there are many utensils and cookware to use. Great TV w/cable and DVD player for your use. Close proximity to restaurants/markets/bakery, etc. We would definitely use this house over and over. Rent with complete confidence!! The highest recommendation!!!
