Our single family bayfront home in desirable Long Beach Island (LBI) NJ is located on a protected cove and dead end street. It has the charm of a beach cottage, yet has the amenities you are looking for... central air conditioning, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and outdoor shower.
Ship Bottom has now been ranked by nj.com as #9 in the list of the "25 greatest NJ food towns no one knows about" and you can walk to most of them. Also, within walking distance is the beach, swimming bay, playground, miniature golf, bars and convenience store.
If you want to relax, you and your family (friends) can hang out on the deck or the covered ground level space and enjoy being on the water. If you like activity, the water is calmer here for kayaking, paddle boarding, floating, boating, crabbing and fishing. You are welcome to bring your kayaks, wave runners or boat to our dock. The Boatyard (waterfront beer garden) is close enough to get there by boat or kayak.
A few blocks away from the bridge, our home is convenient to the Cedar Bonnet and Mallard Island wedding venues and other smaller wedding places.

Summary: We had such a great time at Diana’s lovely home! I stayed with a few friends all in a bridal party for one of our best friends wedding. The house was perfect for the weekend and really made our time while not at wedding events so enjoyable. Diana was so responsive with any questions I had throughout the stay. We would love to be guests again in the future :) thank you for having us!

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay. It was so easy and relaxing. The house was very clean and it was really nice to be on the bay. Diana is easy to communicate with and accommodating. We didn't have any issues while we were there as everything is kept in good condition and easy to figure out. Would love to go when it's warmer to enjoy the bay a little more but it was very peaceful and serene.

Summary: This property was perfect for our family over the Memorial Day weekend! It’s located right on the bay with a great view. There is a nice ground sitting area to enjoy the outdoors as well as the upper deck. Both very comfortable. The house was very clean and just as described in the listing. The beachy decor is so cute! Furnishings and beds are comfortable and well maintained. Would love to rental again when the occasion arises. Thank you!

Summary: Sitting outside on the deck was delightful, always something new...,.an entertaining, rather vocal duck family, sunrise, sunset, the quiet serenity of the nighttime lights reflecting on the water, a soothing, sometimes misty breeze: all in all relaxing. Lovely neighbors on the block were fun to meet.
