Nicest location in town! Beautiful historic Italianate home built in 1868. The Pond Winslow homestead has been awarded the prestigious Heritage Preservation award for Honor and Respect by the Saugatuck Douglas Historical Society. Located on the hill over looking the town square. The home has been beautifully updated, including kitchen, newly remodeled bathrooms and restored old growth hardwood flooring through out. First floor includes, dine in kitchen with laundry, living room, dining room, half bath, bed room (queen bed) with en-suite full bath, and glassed/screened in porch. Second floor has master bedroom (queen bed) with private sun porch, 3rd bedroom handcrafted bunk-bed (full on bottom, single on top) and full bath. Kitchen is fully out fitted Keurig pod or drip coffee (get some fresh roasted beans from Uncommon Grounds, just two blocks) - just bring your favorite food and beverages. Bedrooms and baths are complete with linens. Beautiful flag stone patio with large built in fire pit, lots of grilling accessories. 'Up North' feel in town! In laws want to come too? Ask about the additional cottage with room for two!
Quiet, peaceful location surrounded by mature trees and tranquil gardens, yet just a few steps from the thriving downtown with all of its associated activities: Shops, Antique Stores, Art Galleries, Restaurants, Bars and Coffee shops. Utilize the chain ferry and walk or ride your bike to the beautiful Oval Beach. Summary: We so enjoyed our stay at this historic home. It was within walking distance of downtown. Our host even had someone shovel the sidewalks, driveway and brush the snow off our cars before we checked out- classy touch. The kitchen was well equipped . Felt like home; very comfortable. We’ll be back.

Summary: Planned a trip for my family post-Christmas to just get away, and had a GREAT time. This location is perfect -- it's close enough to walk to ALL the shops and restaurants downtown ( 5 min walk), but far enough that there's not the noise or the street traffic. The house itself was charming and we LOVED the Bose sound system. We appreciated the little touches, like the board games in the closet, well stocked coffee supplies, etc. Will definitely be back!

Summary: We loved our first visit to Saugatuck! The house was perfectly located - a v short walk to all the shops, restaurants and waterfront, yet totally peaceful and quiet. The house is old and full of character and charm. Lots of space and nicely proportioned rooms. It was especially great to have a full size dining room for Christmas lunch, as well as a large (and very well equipped!) eat-in kitchen. Logs on the fire kept the family cosy and warm and while the conservatory was a bit chilly in comparisonl, it was a great place for morning workouts! Overall, one of the nicest VRBO places we've stayed at, and a wonderful base from which to explore Saugatuck! Highly recommended!

Summary: My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend in December and absolutely loved it! The house is gorgeous, very clean, and a great place to hangout. The bedrooms and living room is cozy, and the kitchen was a great space for making meals. It’s conveniently located downtown, so you can walk to the shops and restaurants. Parking also was a breeze!

Summary: The stay was really nice. Loved the cute cottage that was semi-attChed to the main house. The home was much older than I had anticipated but quiant. The floors squeaked quite a bit so woke up others when getting up to use the bathroom or getting up earlier than others.
