Summary: Lovely. Not a modern, bells and whistles hotel but all we needed.. AND a personal spa pool part of our room. Felt like a typical hotel for 1950’s era that NZ typifies for me. Lovely owner/ staff. Thanks

Summary: This is not a Hilton or Marriott, it’s a cute quaint motel. Something you would have seen all over the place in 1950’s and ‘60’s. The appliances are new and small but convenient. Room was comfortable and clean. The exceptional thing that really made it was Kitty the owner. She goes out of her way to see to your comfort and that you have a wonderful experience while you’re staying there in Rotorua. We are completely comfortable recommending this cute place to anyone.

Summary: The motel is pretty basic and a bit tired. Despite paying over $275 per night we missed out on a private spa pool. The games room and mini golf are not n dire need of refurbishment and there’s certainly no way any business would ever use this place for a conference. Its redeeming feature is that it’s opposite the luge. We’re the price halved I might recommend it but it’s a 2 star motel at a 4 star hotel price.
