Positive: A very clean and new (renewed) room.
Negative: Sunscreens could not be lifted when the sun was not shining on this face of the building, the button for it did not work. Breakfast was not at the expected level (no croissants, no fried bacon). Room was very warm. The hotel is situated in a stony environment.
Summary: For bussines visitors maybe fair, for tourists like us mediocre.

Positive: The hotel was very nice and the staff were really kind and friendly. The area was calm when you don't want to stay near the busy place. If you've a car, then definitely good place to stay, away from main city and peaceful.
Negative: Since we didn't have a car, the place was far for us to reach from Düsseldorf. I expected this and booked, so it's on me. Breakfast options are okay. Good enough for a quick bite.
Summary: Good Hotel, preferable if you have own transport

Positive: lovely breakfast with various types of great German rustic rolls and different fruit options, friendly attentive and helpful staff, nice room and comfortable beds, spacious bath room, plenty of storage space
Negative: there was refurbishment/repairs/improvement work going on at the time with lots of noise during the daytime and into the evening making it difficult to relax with the hot summer temperatures and no air conditioning in the room it got very hot inside too, and this made it difficult to sleep at night and uncomfortable during the day
Summary: nice room but can get very hot in summer as no air conditioning available
