Positive: My overall stay was good - the room was clean and presentable.
Negative: The breakfast was so-so. The menu was good, but the actual food like the scrambled eggs were lukewarm. The sausage gravy was watery, not thick at all. The juice machine would not dispense juice; it kept spitting out water. I did not have any waffles, but I overheard another hotel guest complain that the waffle mix was watery too. Also, I wanted to check in early because I was going to an event that was fancy cocktail attire. I had to pay upfront and in cash $40.00 for an early check-in, but it took 3 tries for 3 different rooms before my key card would work on the 3rd room. I did send a message online asking if I could check in early but did not get a response to my message. Had I received an answer, maybe I would have been told about the fee ahead of time and would have already been prepared to pay the fee. A note on the website about the early check-in fee would have been appreciated.
Summary: I liked the Best Western Hotel and will probably stay again. Overall good for the price.

Positive: I was traveling to charlotte nc for surgery. i was happy to see upon entering my room that it was clean n tidy. always fresh linen and towels at the ready and the free breakfast everyday was also very gud. if i travel to charlotte nc i will be looking to stay at Best Western Plus.
