Positive: Everything was excellent, from the moment I arrived until the moment I left- I felt incredibly taken care of. With so much attention to detail and joy. The staff was warm, personable, and precise. The amenities were incredibly nice and clean and my room was a cocoon. This is a hotel I would return to year after year.

Positive: Excellent service and accommodations. The staff were very helpful and had no issues with communications in English. I love the refreshments and snacks provided free of charge. Honestly, everything was wonderful.

Negative: Absolutely nothing was to our dislike. There wasn't an ice machine you can access, but you can ask the staff. Do note that there are no immediate nearby shops or stores, but we knew that going in and had no issues with everything they provided.

Summary: Our favorite ryokan/hotel experience so far!

Positive: Hospitality, thoughtful transportation arrangements and supply of things needed, elegant inside decor, beautiful outside environment, excellent hot spring experience (both the private and public), very nice, spacious dining facility, food was decent and the beef steak was the best ever, all things considered our stay here could very well be the most satisfying in our lodging experience

Negative: Staff English communication could be better, loss of traditional Ryokan arrangement which has a primary attendant assigned, breakfast choice was limited for multiple nights stay
