Big Vista is a spacious 900 sq. ft. Open Living Luxury suite. Big Vista has one of the best views on Vancouver Island. Guests will enjoy 220 degrees of uninterrupted views of more than 100 km of coastline across the Salish Sea. Big Vista offers guests a private, luxurious suite with classic styling and traditional ambiance.
Big Vista has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with high end appliances, granite countertops, and a gas stovetop. The views from the Great Room are spectacular. The suite has 1 bathroom with a walk in shower and full laundry. It offers 2 patios: one for the spectacular sunrise views and the other for the amazing sunsets. The Big Vista suite offers a library, games, a piano, a gas fireplace, and two TVs. The flooring in the suite is a beautiful cherry hardwood.
Big Vista offers a queen bed with freshly pressed quality linens and duvets for a luxurious sleeping experience. Fleecy robes are provided for the comfort of the guests.
Big Vista has a private entrance down 1 flight of outside stairs. Guests are encouraged to explore the large terraced garden and to enjoy the beautiful landscaping. Big Vista is located in a quiet neighbourhood and offers a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Beaches and trails are nearby, sea lions and whales are often seen swimming past, and the eagles are frequently found in the trees. Guests enjoy relaxing and enjoying the cruise ship views of the ocean. Big Vista offers a comfortable, luxurious vacation experience for visitors to Vancouver Island and Nanaimo.

Summary: We had a great stay here. The place was so nice we had a hard time leaving even when we left for day trips to Nanaimo and Cathedral Grove. Saw whales and and assortment of wild life from the flat. Enjoyed the sunsets from the deck.

Summary: Clean an comfy with panaoramic views. Steep stairs down to suite with rail only on one side. Close to malls and restaurants and two nice natural parks.

Summary: This was our 3rd stay at this stunning property and is it our very favourite rental property, out of the dozen plus rentals we have stayed at. Summary: The suite was perfect- very clean with every amenity necessary. The view is spectacular and hosts, Debby and John, are very accommodating and gracious. One of the best VRBO rentals we've experienced and we've stayed in hundreds over the years. We hope to return again next summer.

Summary: Just what the doctor ordered. Our stay at Vista View was FANTASTIC! Pictures of the view across the straights don’t do it justice. From the eagles greeting us every morning to the beautiful sunsets sitting on the deck, everything was magical. Debby and John were excellent hosts. They met us warmly when we arrived and walked us through the apartment. It is very clean, well appointed, and had everything anyone could need. A great kitchen to cook in. It is as the pictures show. You can’t go wrong staying here. We will be back.

Summary: The property was exactly as listed and exceeded expectations .When you see the view , it’s spectacular, un-obstructed where wildlife abounds! The owners are amazing hosts and wonderful people. The kitchen was very well appointed and clean as was the tasteful living area , bed and bathroom. The neighbourhood was quiet , peaceful and felt safe. It’s situated nearby to “ Neck Point Park “ highly rated for things to do in Nanaimo. The deck is private , relaxing to the lapping sound of waves.Will be back in the future.

Summary: The place had a full kitchen (with a full set of dish and cookware) if you feel inclined to cook, large bathroom with laundy facilities, and a lovely gas fireplace. Great view of the ocean to wake up to as well. All in all, the suite made it so we could forget about worrying about our accommodations and focus on enjoying our time away.
