Summary:
One bedroom apartment over garage with view of the Virginia Creeper Trail at the end of the driveway. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom and sofa bed in the kitchen living area. Property has 23 acres at the base of a ridge with magnificent views. This space is private and secluded, you will be shocked at the magnificent view father stars at night! The Virginia Creeper Trails goes right over the base of our driveway so you can access the trail in seconds right out the front door.
The Space:
The main house (3 bedroom, 2 bath), about 50 yards from the loft, is also available for rent.
Our rules regarding pets: we happily allow up to two dogs but do have a pet fee of $100 with a two dog max.
Guest Access:
Guest's have access to the entire loft, full kitchen, living room and full bathroom. Biker's Loft guests have two parking spaces available that are reserved for them. Guest's are also welcome to enjoy the shared fire pit and outdoor amenities such as berries bushes, apple trees, the spacious yard and kid's playhouse. These areas are shared with the main house that is about 50 yards from the loft. Please note that there is no cell reception anywhere on the mountain but we do offer reliable wifi through satellite. We do have a home phone line in the loft that guests are welcome to use as well.
The loft is over the owner's garage and stays locked while guests are there.
Getting Around:
We are happy to answer any questions that you may have about the location of the home or the area. Please note that there is no cell reception anywhere on the mountain.
Other Things to Note:
We do allow pets but there is a $100 fee per pet with a 2 dog maximum.
Interaction with Guests:
Host will be available as needed by phone but will give you your privacy during your stay.

Summary: Excellent place to stay right on the VA Creeper Trail. There is as much peace and quiet on top of this mountain as you can find anywhere on the planet. We saw the Milky Way stretch all the way across the sky. There are thousands more stars visible at night with no light noise to interfere. Everything we needed for our stay was nicely provided. Owner communicated excellently. Would recommend you book it now if your dates are available.

Summary: Bikers loft is perfectly located between Damascus and Grayson Highlands State Park. In Damascus we rented bikes and caught shuttles for biking the Virginia Creeper Trail. In Grayson we hiked some of the most beautiful terrain I've seen in Va. There is a little country store/restaurant right down the road that has necessities. The property itself was a small, clean, well equipped efficiency located right on the Creeper Trail. Molly, our host, was proactive and attentive. We plan to stay again next visit. For more than 2 people she has a larger home for rent on the same property. S. & D.

Summary: This place is a gem. If you like to disconnect a bit and have a peaceful time then this is the place. Beautiful grounds with plenty of room to roam and a lovely creek and trail right out front. There is a quaint restaurant close by for a bite to eat and talk with friendly locals. Would live here forever happily.

Summary: Close to all activities in the area - Grayson Highlands and Mount Rogers Rec Area. The loft was clean & quiet. I sat on the porch swing at night and watched the deer in the field below. In the morning I star gazed at the dark skies. Highly recommended.

Summary: Climb a mountain right from your property for great views! Loved strolling the surrounding property and enjoyed easy access to the Virginia Creeper Trail. You'll find a coffee shop right down the street which is on the trail, or you can drive your car if you stay right onto a gravel road to reach it. If in car, continue down the gravel road for amazing scenery. Great Pizza on the mountain in NC just a half hour away.
