You are a 3 minute walk to the Omori Store. The Whakapapa ski field is only a 40 minute drive away. Or, enjoy a hot thermal swim at Tokaanu, only 10 minutes from Omori. You will also be a 15 minute drive to the Turangi township, and 50 minutes to Taupo.

Summary: What an outstanding stay. Walking through the door and seeing the view brought a tear to my eye it was that fantastic. The view from the balcony was to die for. The bird song, the canopy of the forest and the tree ferns made for the best stay of our NZ holidays. The house was very comfy, warm and the upstairs bed really comfortable.

Summary: Amazing place to stay. Despite the bad weather the house was warm, the views amazing, and the sound of the birds so relaxing. There was board games and a great selection of books, which meant we were able to switch off from the world and enjoy some family time in the most perfect location. Can't wait to stay here again

Summary: We used Birdsong as an opportunity for two close friends to get together and have a catch-up, enjoy some walking and leave the troubles of the world behind, Birdsong provided all that and more. The house was beautifully clean and tidy and perfectly suited to our needs with everything anyone could ask for provided. Highly recommended.
