Black Bear Haus is a lovely remodeled cabin on Tahoe's West Shore. Sunny and Bright, this cute little house is perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway. Beautiful leather furniture and a 55-inch TV, Blu-ray/DVD player. Tastefully decorated with an open floor plan. Very homey with a new king mattress as of May 2024. Sunny patio with 4 chairs and a round table, a chaise lounge chair on the front deck, and a propane BBQ. The bathroom is also completely remodeled with a nice new tub and granite tile.
Enjoy the hot tub on the back deck. Gas fireplace and wireless internet. High-efficiency washer and dryer are down the interior stairs and to the left.
There are approximately 13 stairs from the parking area down to the cabin - not wheelchair accessible. Garage not accessible for renters.
Please note: Homeowner or guest of owner may occasionally use the apartment below the garage, away from the main house, with separate entrance and no interruption to you and your vacation.

•QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM TO 8AM. NO NOISE SHALL BE HEARD ACROSS PROPERTY LINES. NO OUTDOOR SPEAKERS OR AMPLIFIED SOUND ARE TO BE USED AT ANY TIME.
•PARKING IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING NUMBER OF SPACES: 2 - STREET PARKING IS PROHIBITED YEAR-ROUND.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. Home was amazing. Scenery was stunning and neighborhood was so peaceful. I recommend this property to any couple looking to just get away or celebrate something.

A little awkward to get to down the stairs but fine - hot tub is amazing, kitchen is amazing and well stocked.The bed is very uncomfortable though - very very very firm. Would stay here every trip if a different bed.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here in January and loved it. The house was the perfect winter escape for us. We were even able to easily walk down the hill to the various restaurants and market on the main road. We would stay here again for sure.

Perfect home base to explore Lake Tahoe. Numerous hiking trails within walking distance, nice restaurant options nearby. Soaking in the hot tub after a day of snowshoeing was wonderful! The house is nicely appointed with plenty of comfortable seating. Very private location and the house was spotless. Uber fast wi-fi. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need. Our only suggestion would be a new mattress as the existing one has divots and is not very comfortable. Otherwise would definitely stay here again.
