Summary: The motel is very clean, well kept and the creek behind the property is beautiful, there is almost no WiFi in the last room of the line where I slept.

Summary: My stay at Black Bear Lodge was great. The room was comfortable and clean and contained everything I needed. The shower was great - no waiting for hot water! The location was quiet and convenient. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was perfect - coffee, tea, cereal, muffins, croissants, etc. Check in and out was simple. And the price I paid was very reasonable. I hope to stay there again!

Summary: The property is pet friendly and situated among beautiful trees with a stream in the back if you climb down the embankment. Just gorgeous.

Summary: The tv service was in and out. Very old and stuffy rooms. Too hot. No control over heat. Strange arrangement of the tv and beds.

Summary: This is in a wonderful area of the Catskills with a creek streaming in the back if you wish to visit it. I've stayed a few times and I've seen many people take their dogs to Black Bear. They love the treed property for walks. It's close to farm stands or antiquing in the various towns along route 23.
