Country house in the Alentejano Southwest (Portugal), placed within a 7,5 hectares estate, 10 minutes away from Sao Teotonio, 15 from Zambujeira do Mar and Alteirinhos beaches and 45 from Carrapeteira (a surf paradise).
House is surrounded by madrono trees, cork oak trees and eucalyptus in a quiet place, where the only noise comes from cowbells of cattle grazing in a distant country house and the murmuring of the breeze though the trees. Ideal to enjoy nature, relaxing and retrieving peacefulness and strength.
It has 1 dorm, with two single beds 200 x 90cm. (on the picture appear together) and a fitted wardrobe.
The living room has a sofa-bed (2 beds 190 x 90cm.), also with a wardrobe, a salamander stove, and for your enterteinment, a Satellite TV, DVD player and audio system. Free Wi-fi internet is available in all the house as well as in the pool.
A fully equipped kitchen, with gas oven, microwave oven, toaster and coffee maker, refrigerator, dishwasher, as well as several electrical appliances to simplify your life.
Complete bathroom with shower.
Outside there's a terrace with a barbecue, a flowery garden and a fresh pergola by the swimming-pool.
Besides the pool, there's also a table football and a ping-pong table.

Summary: If you wanna calm down and enjoy the landscape this is the place to be! The house is tinny but has everything which is needed and the private pool is awesome. Juan is a great host and will give you a lot of suggestions what to do and support you at any time.

Summary: We spent a week at Blue Lar house and I must say it was our best holiday ever. The house is beautiful, very calm and peaceful and clean and comfirtable. The location is perfect, close to the beaches and with stunning views. Juan and Taina are superb hosts always ready to assist. They made our stay wonderful.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Lar which is located at a very quite place in the middle of nowhere. The house was equipped with everything you need for 4 people. We would recommend this tiny house for two people as it is very small and cosy. We really enjoyed the nice pool which we had for ourselves all the time. 4 Stars only as the house was very small for 4 people and needs some revision/renovation on the inside. 5 Starts for the host Juan was always nice and engaged with plenty of good tips for places for food, beaches, visits etc.

Summary: My husband and I stayed in Blue Lar for a week in June. We loved it! The house is cozy, clean and small, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We spent the entire day hiking to fantastic beaches and at the end of the day we relaxed at the Blue Lar. There is a nice BBq grill (not gas, but wood!), which we used a couple of times successfully! There is also a well maintained pool area, just for the Blue Lar guests. The region is dry and hot in June, but there is always a nice breeze at the Blue Lar. In addition to be the perfect spot for us, we were also very pleased with Juan and Taina's hospitality. They live next door and they are very friendly and helpful. Taina explained all about the house and Juan provided us lots of info about weather, tides, hiking trails, canoe trip, restaurants and best wines of the region! We followed some of his suggestions for hiking trails, beaches, food, wines and we loved! We are planning to go back some day and certainly we recommend this place to everyone who loves to stay in the country and enjoys tranquility.

Summary: It was the perfect place to be in holidays The nature, the land lords, the sweet litle house, the peace, everything was fantastic. I am sorry it was only 3 days , next time it will be at least a week, or two !!!!... So I will be back for sure!!!

Summary: We stayed for 3 weeks in Blue Lar and had a fantastic holiday. The house is tiny but everything we needed was available. There is a great swimming pool with amazing views and a lot of privacy. i would recommend this house to everyone who loves to stay in the country and likes a quiet holiday. The owners Juan and Taina are pleasant and lovely people. So we booked already for the next year. Then we we'll take some friends with us and stay in the bigger house. .

Summary: Blue Lar is an attractive quirky property in a secluded valley, with pleasant views towards a windmill- topped hill. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay, within easy reach of some beautiful beaches, our favourite being Odecixe which has towering cliffs, Atlantic rollers, and extensive golden sands. Juan, our host, was very welcoming, friendly, and informative.

Summary: We had a great time staying at Blue Lar. The house was clean and very cosy, surrounded by a lush, beautiful garden. The whole place is so peaceful and relaxing, so we had a hard time to leave. What's more is that Juan is an amazing host, offering helpful advice on local food, beaches and the region, while at the same time being very respectful of our privacy. Thank you for an amazing time, we hope we will come back someday!!
