FULL SOLAR ELECTRICITY BACKUP - The BLUE OCEAN VILLA is a modern masterpiece on one of the most prestigious Golf Estates is South Africa – The Pezula Golf Estate - which is located in the coastal town of Knysna, along the beautiful lagoon and the Indian Ocean in the heart of the Garden Route in the Western Province of South Africa.
The spacious 300 sqm three bedroom (all ensuite) home has 180 degrees unsurpassed spectacular ocean and golf course views, including down to Pezula`s signature hole number 14 on the cliffs. Because of its privileged location in the estate right on the ridge, the property has full privacy from neighbors and golfers and all you can hear is the soft sound of the Indian Ocean and the birds from the nature reserve. It has a FULL SOLAR ELECTRICITY BACKUP as electricity outages unfortunately are the norm these days. There is also a water filter for the entire house installed.
The modern house is built to take advantage of the magnificent landscape and light from every angle, be it a double height all glass foyer to being equipped with large sliding glass doors in all the rooms. From every room in the house, one has the most amazing ocean views, including from the bathtub or shower. The large doors in the living and dining area open up to provide a feeling of being outside. It has a modern European designer kitchen (which is staffed with everything you need) and an open plan living and dining room set up and is perfect for entertaining. Its 5 meter high ceilings in the main living areas provide a feeling of magnificent space and keep it cool in the summer. A gas fireplace completes the experience and caters for some colder nights.
The bedrooms are very spacious and equipment with very high quality extra length King size or single beds, and all have en-suite bathrooms with walk in shower and bathtub. As 2 of the 3 bedrooms are very large, this is also is ideal for 2 couples to travel together as you can both enjoy your master suite with stunning ocean views and a wellness style bathroom.
There is also separate TV room with a large LED TV to provide an additional living area without any disturbance, and of course a separate scullery with dishwasher and washing machine to keep the main living space nice and quiet. Your cars can be parked in a double garage. It is a self catering villa, so no daily cleaning is provided, but housekeeping can be arranged upon request at additional costs.
Just 100 meter from the house also starts the path along the 18thhole to the Golf Clubhouse, 5 star restaurants and Spa, or into the Pezula nature reserve. There is also an absolutely secluded private beach of the Estate via a short hike. The common tennis court and swimming pool is only a 2 minute drive away.
The Pezula golf course and its amenities has won several awards and is one of the most spectacular golf courses in South Africa as it combines everything Knysna has to offer. The course is self is challenging and offers a variety of vegetation and views, from nice forest view , to spectacular lagoon views, all the way to endless Indian Ocean views.
Overall a magnificent place to relax, while being close to all the attractions and entertainment Knysna has to offer.

Summary: Everything, from communication from the owner and welcome by local host Amelia, was perfect. The welcome booklet gave wonderful recommendations of restaurants and things to do. House has an amazing location overlooking Pezula Golf Course and ocean views. Very very clean, lovely linens, fully stocked kitchen. We couldn’t have been happier. Was our little slice of heaven!

Summary: House was perfect for our family of 5 (kids ages 13, 11, and 9), with more than enough room for us to spread out. Loved the extra security being in the gated community. House was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. And the views from every room…wow!! Only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy them. Oliver and Amelia were fantastic with helping us prepare for our trip and with activity and restaurant recommendations. Thank you!

Summary: What a beautiful property! Everything was clean, useful and very comfortable for our group of four senior women. This house gives you cozy spots as well as vistas. Our host, Oliver was so helpful to us both before and during our stay. His property manager was very graciously responsive to questions. This was definitely a 5 star experience; thank you, Oliver! Others who have the opportunity to stay at your lovely home will leave with good memories.

Summary: The property and house were impeccable. The views overlooking the golf course and ocean were amazing. Our family of four (a 14 year old and 11 year old) are world travelers and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at the house. We golfed, bungee jumped, toured the city by car, had beauty treatments, etc...If you are contemplating renting this beautiful home, I highly encourage it!
