Fall time is so beautiful in the area to see with the leaf color changes.

Summary: We loved the historic feel of this huge home overlooking the city of Dubuque. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family group of 12 to get ready for our daughter's wedding. Coffee/tea and comfy sitting areas added a homey atmosphere.

Summary: Historic old house, plenty of room for our big family. Close to downtown. Don’t expect things to be perfect. Maintenance is needed on several things. Cleanliness was not great. Cobwebs and dust. Despite this, our family had a great time. Host was nice and allowed early check in for us.

Summary: It had dust and cobwebs. WAs fairly well supplied with cooking necessities. Did not have enough pillows or pillowcases and linens were hard to locate. Roof leaked when it rained. We just put pans under it and called the host.
