We have a wonderful newly renovated salle de fรชte (multipurpose room). Which can be used for:
- dining seats 30 people
- birthday celebrations

Starlink wifi with speeds >60mbps.
Our front lawn area is spacious and is can be used for:
- outdoor group dining
- star gazing (we have a telescope that you can use)

Enquire now as our main summer weeks can be booked out months in advance. Our self-contained accommodation gites converted are from a 1770 barn.
The 5 renovated gites offer different sleeping arrangements to cater for up to 30 people. Perfect for different family groups to have their own space. Only โ‚ฌ30 per person (age 15 years +) / โ‚ฌ20 per child per night (age 4-14 years) infants age 3 or under are FREE!

Each gite has FREE WiFi and a self-contained kitchen with pots, saucepan, oven, fridge, suitable crockery and glassware. We live in the main house and can help with any problems or suggest day trips.
Living areas in the gites provide both dining table and lounge areas with TV including Amazon Firestick / Netflix.
Bed linen is not provided for guests but can be upon request and a small fee. Since covid we encourage that you bring your own towels for showers and swimming pool.
Baby cots and high chairs are available if required.
See the wonderful views to the Pyrรฉnรฉes. Feel the coolness of our swimming pool (inc. toddlers pool) on a hot summer's day. Hear the wildlife in the pond and orchard area and get packed to "Relax, Explore, Enjoy".

The property is centrally located so that you can explore the traditional Gers towns of Auch, Fleurance, Condom and Vic Fezensac to the north whilst to the south we have access to the Pyrรฉnรฉes, Lourdes Cathedral, Tour de France and dotted close by are smaller hamlets to enjoy the fine culinary delights of the region.

Summary: Stayed for 4 nights for a team building/cycling getaway. Lovely premises. Hosts were fantastic & live on site & easily contactable, yet we had full privacy. The surrounding area is cycling paradise with so little traffic on the roads. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Summary: Nice property with lots of space for a large group and a very large pool. The location is remote and therefore very calm. Quite a few villages around with nice markets, bakeriesโ€ฆCount for a 15 minute drive to buy what you need. We took long walks around the property and the countryside is really pleasant there. The owners were very friendly during our entire stay and accommodating. We warmly recommend the place.

Summary: Had a lovely time at this great give. Very friendly, helpful, fun owners who went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous. Location is great - quiet but with lots of easily accessible day trips. Everything was clean and well maintained. Would recommend.

Summary: The facilities at France Getaway exceeded our expectations and Murray and Jane were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and welcoming from when we arrived at Toulouse Airport. Our gite was very comfortable, clean and roomy with great facilities and views to the mountains and beyond. The grounds are extensive and offered relaxing strolls and a "cuppa" with our hosts. The pool was an added bonus and contributed to the gardens. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to family and friends and will definitely return in the future if the chance arises. Murray and Jane went out of their way to organise trips / tours of the area which was greatly appreciated by us and the chance to view the night skies through Murray's telescope was an unexpected highlight.

Summary: If your perfect holiday is peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings, lounging around with views of the Pyrenees in the distance and generally getting away from it all then I would highly recommend France Getaway. Having said this, there are plenty of nearby sites and places to visit. It is a cyclist's dream and I would recommend that if you don't drive here you rent a car from a nearby village to fully appreciate the wonderful surroundings. We visited the jazz festival in Marciac and a nearby lake for a swim (there is a great pool on site!) and plenty of other pretty places. You can go walking in the hills in the summer and the scenery is breathtaking. What really makes the place work are the lovely hosts Jane and Murray, who maintain the perfect balance between being attentive yet leaving you to your own devices! My wife and I have already booked the flights for the next visit this summer.

Summary: What a beautiful slice of heaven. Our room was more than we expected with traditional yet modern fittings, lovely fresh linen and a comfy bed. Stunning outlook over the balcony whilst enjoying complimentary breakfast. Lovely pool to dip into after a warm day. The hosts, Murray (and Aussie) and Jane (English) went out of their way to ensure our stay was one to remember. We'll be back!

Summary: I had a very relaxing time with Jane, Murray & Jake. The scenery was breathtaking, the property was beautiful and it was quiet - exactly what I required. My self contained gite (apartment) was spacious, clean & cozy throughout the cooler evenings. Murray planed 2 day trips for me which were exactly to my requirements. The best of all, it was very affordable. A well ran family business, that still has the family touch.

Summary: This beautiful French farmhouse is an idyllic setting for peace and quiet. The gite I stayed in was warm, clean and cosy with a beautiful view over the garden to the front and the Pyrenees in the distance. An hours drive take you to the foot of the Pyrenees and the many walks and facilities available. There are many small and larger towns in the area for eating out and site-seeing. Jane and Murray are extremely warm and friendly and make you feel part of the family. The area is perfect for cycling and walking or just sitting around the pool. The most relaxing holiday in a long time.
