Positive: The property exudes Tuscan Italy with amazing views, great grounds, excellent food onsite.
Negative: Water to drink must be paid for to obtain. Travel before it gets really hot as there are only windows and fans, no A/C.
Summary: An excellent launching pad to Chianti, Siena, Montalcino, and Montepulciano areas for wine lovers.

Positive: Beautiful villa and spacious apartment with gorgeous view. Hot water came out instantly with good pressure in the showers. Animal feeding tour was a highlight (tip: to wear enclosed shoes). The wine tour was also excellent with the guide being very charming and knowledgeable. Both the animal and wine tour guide were very passionate about their works and purpose!
Negative: We did have a few instances of miscommunication with the receptionist, who did tell us she was new. A few minor things, but one matter that did bother us was that she told us we could request house keeping, which we did. To our shock, we were charged €50 for the house keeper to be in our rooms for less than 20mins and to just make our beds and replace kitchen bins. If the receptionist had been transparent and told us the cost, we would not have requested it. Rather than tell us we could “request” house keeping, I wish she had told us we would “pay” for it. Other than that, a lovely stay!

Positive: Amazing property with very kind staff with lots to do on site. Serene, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere. Room was very comfortable and clean. The wine tasting tour is a must do, as you get to try several of the wines made on the property and learn more about where you are staying. You will need to take a taxi to and from the property to Siena. We walked one day too and from the property into Siena and it took about an hour (4km) each way with a few big hills, but we are in relatively good shape and were quite tired by the end of the day. It’s doable but not for the faint of heart.
Negative: The restaurant was a pass. We stayed at the end of March and it may be the time of year, but our meals were not fresh and very expensive.
Summary: Serene, quiet stay outside of the town of Siena that was incredibly enjoyable and relaxing

Positive: It has a nice view and a great atmosphere that is very natural. The public areas are pretty. free parking.
Negative: Cold and not very clean. The blanket lacks a proper bed sheet and is not fully covered; it resembles a sandwich: "sheet - wool blanket - dustproof sheet"- they are separated rather than covered by a sheet. And low Internet connection; wi-fi only can be used in public areas.

Positive: The place is just magnificent! The view from the top of the hill where La Torre alle Tolfe is located is absolutely breathtaking! Garden, the architecture of the building, decorations and vineyard is beautiful and one of a king, these sunsets were just wonderful even during autumn. Staff were always so helpful (even without english), breakfast is small but fresh and delicious, some sweet cakes, eggs, cheese, ham and bread. Dinner in a restaurant was also okay. Wine and olive oil from their terrains were delicious too. So close to Siena but car is needed! Nice heating in rooms when it was cold.

Positive: This property is straight out of a dream! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and feel old world and modern at the same time, the restaurant is fabulous, and the staff are very warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Take time to relax here. Slow down. Stroll. Eat slowly. Enjoy it all. While we were there, we did the olive harvest bliss with Sydney. It was the highlight of our entire 2 week vacation. What an experience! She and Sasha were so much fun, and we got such an authentic and memorable experience. I cried a little when our stay was up and we drove away.
Negative: Absolutely nothing.
