If you are looking for an idyllic get-away in a spacious country house surrounded by spectacular scenery and a view to die for, this is it. Bottlebrush has a stunning interior atmosphere with a spacious open plan living area opening up through full length glass doors to a timber deck and swimming pool.
The property sits on 5 acres, high above the valley below surrounded by farmland and rainforest that is home to many native animals and birds, all with magnificent views of the Kangaroo Valley escarpment and the Upper River Valley. Look forward to waking up to see the morning mist far below in the valley with the morning sun lighting up the escarpment on the other side of the valley.
The architecturally designed house features modern open plan living with a gourmet kitchen, large stone fireplace; some firewood is provided from May to September, reverse cycle air-conditioning, four generous queen bedrooms, a games/5th bedroom with 2 single beds and 3 bathrooms.
The upstairs master bedroom has fantastic views from the private balcony and a luxurious ensuite.
The caesarstone kitchen is equipped with a five burner gas cook top, large oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine (BYO pods) and fridge/freezer with plenty of bench space and storage to prepare and cook your favourite meals. There is a laundry with washer & dryer. The deck is the perfect place for alfresco dining with a barbecue and outdoor setting.
There is also a generous rustic dining table outside with bench seating under a vine covered pergola.
We invite you to come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of our home far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
* Bottlebrush Lodge is designed to accommodate family groups and we have a strict no party policy. Any disruption to neighbouring properties will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any damages or extra cleaning costs will be charged to the credit card provided for the security bond.

Summary: We had an absolutely amazing week. The house is really spacious and the views are even better. The kids loved getting in and out of the pool. My only complaint is that the decking around the pool desperately needs to be replaced.

Summary: The perfect escape. The views are amazing and change from the house to the grassy slopes. The house is roomy, has a great kitchen, a kids area and the bedrooms are separate from each other. The pool was perfect- deep and right in front of the living area so the kids could swim all day. The house has been situated so you can neither hear nor see any neighbours- except the kangaroos, cows and a local echidna who came by in the afternoons. The outdoor fire area was great for evenings, the herb garden a bonus and we didn’t find a single bindy in the grass. A wonderful relaxing time for kids and parents.

Summary: View from house was amazing! Very spacious and pool was great! Only downside was that the pool area had weeds shooting up through the decking and glass around the pool had not been cleaned. There was also a mouldy beer bottle on the upstairs balcony that had not been touched. The house was great for a friend getaway but I think the property needs a deep clean to make it amazing! 😌

Summary: This property is in a beautiful location, perfect for getting away from it all and enjoying peace and quiet and a magnificent view. Overall it was a pleasant stay. At the time of our stay this property did have an alarm. We were greeted with it going off on first arrival, which unfortunately took the majestic feel away from arrival. Management got it attended to quickly for us though which was great. It was a bit annoying that there was no mention of any alarm or alarm code. The areas this property could improve on would be it's maintenance and cleanliness. A lot of light bulbs were blown in side lamps, pool light, outdoor areas, the glass pool fence was dirty, the kitchen exhaust was filthy, the Sonos sound system only worked in the garage and master bedroom . The gardens were upkept beautifully though and both the indoor and outdoor fireplaces were fantastic in the cooler weather.

Summary: My family stayed at Bottlebrush Lodge over the Australia Day long weekend. The views of the valley are just magnificent and the house is very private - you feel like you have the valley all to yourself. The house is lovely and come with lots of good features such as the automatic pool cover, built in Sonos stereo system, games room and multiple bathrooms. It was plenty big enough for 8 adults and 2 children. If I can make a negative comment, while the house is really nice, but feels that it's a bit tired and dirty. I would recommend getting in a cleaner and maintenance guy in for a day to detail clean the place and fix a few things. For example, the window sills were filthy, there was a colony of cockroaches living in one of the bathroom drawers and the BBQ was covered in ants. On the maintenance side of things, there is obvious water damage to the ceiling in the living room which could use repair, there were door handles with a screw missing, so it just swung about, the BBQ lid handle was also missing a screw, making it difficult to take off and on. It were these little things that, considering we paid $1000 a night, we were slightly disappointed with. Ultimately, we really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend someone to stay at the house purely for the views and the great pool. Kangaroo Valley is just such a nice area, that it's definitely worth a visit.

Summary: Besides the mobile phone reception and lack of internet in the house, I can’t fault this beautiful house. Good size pool, plenty of space around the house, lots of board games and movies to watch are provided and a pool table! The view is amazing you can’t get enough of it. Will come back again!

Summary: Away with the girls for the weekend and we couldn’t of picked a better location. The view was amazing, the house great. Big enough to have us all there, the pool and deck great. Sun lounges would of made it perfect. Bed rooms and bathrooms clean. Kitchen huge. We had a great stay and will look st booking for next year. Thanks
