Looking for a relaxing vacation close to skiing, boating, hiking, mountains and more? New high speed internet available!!
Please note September-May is a 2 night minimum stay and June-August is a 5 night minimum.
Quiet home situated in the woods with a babbling stream you can hear from the back deck while you read or nap on the hammock. Propane fireplace for keeping warm on cooler nights while on the back deck. Home has reasonable acres for you to explore from the property and abuts to conservation land with a pond for hiking off the beaten path. Town forest is across the street with miles of well marked trails right from the property. We strive to have everything you need for your home away from home!
Come snuggle by the amazing Hearthstone wood stove. Separate quiet office space for those work at home days. Amazing Jacuzzi tub to relax after a long day on the lake, long hike, or skiing the mountains. Keyless entry code during your visit.
Pet friendly- we do ask that you clean up after your pet. We do ask that you disclose the type of pet and size prior to booking approval. All pets must be contained and supervised by owners when on the property. We will not be held accountable for any injury your pet acquired during your stay. As mentioned above this property does have two units and both are pet friendly so you may encounter other dogs during your visit. There is an added $75. cleaning fee for pets.
If staying during the winter we do have a plow that typically cones within 8 hours from the completion of a storm. Please note sone shoveling maybe required upon your arrival, this typically consists of two or three steps. A snow shovel is provided.
If staying during the summer we have air conditioning units in windows from June-August. There is one on the main level (dining room), master bedroom (king bed) and guest bedroom (queen bed).
Parties over 6 are charged an additional $50. Per person/ per day to help with cleaning costs.
Please note there are cameras on the exterior of the property (not in unit). Cameras are recording at all times, but not monitored during occupancy. Blocking the cameras is NOT allowed and may result in cancelling the reservation without refund.
Note this home has two units. The second unit is a small apartment with a separate entrance, outdoor space and parking.
NO Third party bookings are prohibited- this means the person booking the property must be on site and staying with their group during the entire stay.
There is NO SMOKING allowed on the property and failure to comply may result in immediate cancelation and removal from the property.
NO parties or events are allowed on the property- failure to comply will result in cancelation and removal from the property without refund.
NO filming on the property is allowed aside from anything for personal use without permission from the owner. If this rule is broken you will risk having your reservation cancelled without refund.
Please note NO deliveries are to be sent to the property unless pre-authorization and approval from the host has been given. This is required as we do not receive deliveries at this address and packages have been misplaced in transit.
We reserve the right to check IDENTIFICATION, if we don’t receive identification before your arrival no access will be given to the property and your reservation may be cancelled. We highly recommend purchasing insurance for your stay as we do stick to our cancelation policy and insurance gives you the added protection in case you need to cancel your reservation.
Please notice that all dishes are expected to be washed and put away upon departure.
Towels and sheets should also be washed, dried and folded before departure.

Summary: *The property listing was edited during our stay. It now accuratly reflects the rental, but the old listing didnt make it clear that 2 rentals were adjoining. Discovering this was initially disappointing but the other renters were friendly, quiet&respectful. They had a large, well trained dog who had free range over the entire property. If we weren't dog lovers, I could see this being a problem, but it worked for us, While the house wasnt quite as big as id thought, there was plenty of room for our 5 adults and one small-med dog. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were large. All the BRs & the LR had nice TVs w/ more streaming services than we could've used. Maybe most convenient were the Lightening cables, USB, USB-C, and Applewatch chargers located on every nighstand! The huge upstairs bathroom also had a little basket of things you may have forgotten, which was a nice touch. The kitchen was functional & stocked except for groceries(obviously!)- which we got @ Moulton Farms(!!)&Hannaford Loved the hammock &view frm the back porch, but the grill was too dirty to clean, NM use, & many of the screens, inc the sliding door to the back porch had tiny holes. Mosquitoes were an issue our 1st night, but we invested in defenses day 2. Elsewhere in the yard A well established trail lead to a stream & 2 waterfalls but instead of continuing on to a pond it terminated @ 300 yrds. It didnt devalue THE BEAUTY OF THE PROPERTY. And Lynn was SO attentive! WE GIVE BH AN 8.5/10!

Summary: I thought we were renting a house to ourselves however there are renters in a section of the house. They also have a Hugh dog who is always off the lease and even tried to get in the house as no one is with him when he roams around the property. The place was clean but a lot smaller than what I thought from the pictures on the site. The renters on the property with their dog was very upsetting for the week we were there. I would not rent again because of it.

Summary: Boulder Hill is such a comfortable home to rent filled with warmth and care by the host Lynn. She puts her care into every single detail and we were so grateful for "forgotten toiletries " box. That was the sweetest touch and all the handy phone chargers all over the home. Lynn is a great communicator and was so responsive to my continuous queries. Don't forget to enjoy the jacuzzi which was well needed for the mother of the bride!!! Thank you Lynn.

Summary: We just left after five awesome days at Squam for a family friends wedding. We enjoyed our stay at this rental and it had all the amenities we were looking for. Our kids especially loved the toys and the welcome gifts. We highly recommend this home for your stay in NH!

Summary: Boulder hill is a beautiful dog friendly property with nice easy hiking trails right on the property and across the street. The home had everything needed to enjoy our stay and We enjoyed our stay immensely. We took advantage of the beach pass and spent days at both the nearby town beach and beede’s falls, and there were Plenty of activities, Restaurants and shopping within 20 min. The hosts were gracious and helpful, and we hope to rent here again.

Summary: Very responsive and kind host Multiple phone chargers throughout house definitely appreciated. Beach pass to the town beach is gold! Gorgeous butterfly garden, amazing beautiful creek, lots of woods, and lovely hang-out spot on the back deck, with gas fire. We love the quiet side of Squam, best lake in the world, and this was perfect!
