Negative: Some stains on downstairs bathroom door. Ants on one occasion in the kitchen. Downstairs shower handle came off in your hand when turning it on.

Positive: Great central location where we did day trips in and around Hobart. Close to great eating places,Black buffalo hotel and the Italian club To name just two. Facilities were excellent.plenty of room for us , two couples.

Positive: Loved the character of the house and location. Easy walk to the city and to botanical gardens. House had all facilities. Lovely view of kunanyi Mt Wellington from back yard. Am adding photo of strange cloud formation over kunanyi taken from the backyard of Brampton Cottage on first morning of our stay. It was really great coming “home” to Brampton Cottage every evening of our stay. That’s what it felt like - home.

Negative: Shower tap in downstairs bathroom a bit temperamental. Also downstairs hair dryer. Everything else worked perfectly.

Positive: Clean, well appointed. Good to have off street parking. Host easy to contact when we had a minor issue with keys. Easily accomodates up to 6 although we were only 3.
