Summary: Lovely room and convict built hotel. Arrived around 10:00PM. GLAD we had internet access to get directions to get entry keys and directions to our room Place could use a little TLC. Very convenient to local restaurants and wharf

Summary: The property is in a busy street but we found it to be quiet. It is sort of an “in between” neighbourhood with so many dining and entertainment venues two blocks north and south plus a 15 minute walk to the waterfront. Great location, on street parking.

Summary: This guest house is simply stunning. Jeff the owner is so nice and helpful, he can recommend the best places to eat, all within a block either side of the accommodation including micro breweries and fantastic cafés. We stayed in the King Suite, absolutely beautiful and worth every penny. Really clean and spacious. My favourite thing was the dark grey face washer embroidered Makeup Remoal - I hate trying to get the standard issue white face washers clean after taking off my makeup - what a thoughtful touch. Complimentary port in the sitting room with books etc. and beautifully comfortable lounges and chairs is an added touch of class, the small little garden in the centre of the house is so cute. My husband and I highly recommend the Lodge on Elizabeth to anyone staying in Hobart!
