Positive: We had a great 10 night stay for our honeymoon and highly recommend Breakas. - All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, we could not fault their service. They went above and beyond from the moment we arrived when we were welcomed with a complimentary shell necklace and drink, staff then took our suitcases for us and escorted us to our room. - The menu is extensive with food and drink available all day. The portions were large (even the beach eats menu), and the food was always delicious. Happy hour was a great way to start the night before dinner. There was a complimentary continental breakfast buffet with delicious local fruits. - The resort is out of the main area of Port Vila making for a more relaxing beach front stay with fabulous views and well kept tropical gardens. We left the resort to explore most days and transport was easy with buses and taxis driving past all day. On cruise days when it was harder, Breakas staff were more than happy to help with calling taxis or waving down buses. There is a convenient small supermarket across the road. - There was nightly entertainment, we especially enjoyed the fire show. The pool was crystal clear, always clean and didn't smell of chlorine. We also really enjoyed the child-free environment. - The room, whilst basic, felt authentic and was clean. The beds were comfy, and the room was cleaned each day. The fan was enough to keep comfortable.

Positive: Villa setting and gardens were lovely. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Great hot showers
Negative: Breakfast was average the buffet was not replentished without asking. The pool is clean but smells of chlorine. The reception staff where not overly friendly or helpful. Cannot swim at the beach due to coral and tides

Positive: Location and service was great. We really enjoyed the theme nights. The size of the resort was also good.
Negative: We didn't like that the bathrooms were open to the outside which allowed mosquitos to be there all the time.Also has lead to break ins. Our hot water only worked intermittently. Lighting in the fares also made it difficult to read. Our room backed up to the road which made it quite noisy.

Positive: Breakas Resort is located outside of the city, in a quiet setting. We could occasionally hear dogs or roosters from the neighbouring villages, but we didn't mind that at all. The sound of the ocean lulling you to sleep is absolutely unique, and it felt very special to be able to wake up early and just walk up to the water to start your day :)

Negative: WiFi does not connect in the Bungalow.
