Positive: Breakfast was good. The beach view and facilities were really good. Staff were friendly, helpful and kind.

Negative: I was initially a little dubious about not having internet access in my room. However, it forced me to switch off and to go to the public access areas to use the internet. This was a good thing - time off-line on holidays is necessary!

Positive: if you want White Sands, Gorgeous Vanuatu South Pacific Beach hut setup , amazing cocktails and 100% safety then THIS place is for you. My beach hut was clean, had all I required, I could walk barefoot throughout the property. The food was first class especially the Fish Salad ( Dairy free) at lunch- that was like the best ceviche I ever had. The cocktails that Jack made were divine....Best Pina Coladas! ( Dairy Free) All the staff we so kind, helpful, and really genuinely friendly even the Security guys... I loved the safety aspect travelling alone, I felt comfortable and safe even walking around the village, totally amazing The beach was gorgeous and the ocean too. Loved that there was free water-sports too. This is a GREAT place for surfers...definitely need to advertise that more in your brochures. They were out there daily surfing on amazing waves! the Island is fabulous you can find a driver to take you around - I paid 18,000 Vatu to drive all the way around . it took 6 hrs including a lunch stop. Taxis from the airport are 3000- 3500 Vatu so do bring cash ( TIP dont wait to get vatu out at the airport as there is a big queue for the ONE cash machine on arrivals - do it at exchange in Australia/ New Zealand before you land if I were you)

Negative: These are SMALL issues , Im simply filling this section out as you have also asked for my feedback and I beleive with feedback a place only gets better after all : So I guess as you are on a beach , you are bound to come across the natural wildlife so there are cockroaches, geckos, crabs etc that can get into your room so just be sure to keep the door closed. Also I found a Cockroach in my suitcase 2 days after I had left Vanuatu- LOL they get everywhere!!! It would have been nice to be told at Reception about beach towels, also that all watersports are free, instead I only found this out by asking on Days 3 onwards. The Welcome meeting was 30 mins late and only happened because I went to remind them I was waiting for it. There was not a lot of dairy FREE food, no dairy free desserts for the Melanesia night and even the main dinner didnt have dairy free options so was a bit harder but I was impressed they DID have almond milk served at Breakfast.

Summary: if you want rustic, original South Pacific white Sands, Great Surfing beach this is it!

Positive: It is well located , and on the beach The outdoor shower in the room was great Poolside drink service was a great add on The fire show on the Friday night by local kids/ adults was lovely Having dinner on the beach really added a special romantic flair to the trip The big trees are very well maintained and the resort yard is constantly cleaned

Negative: The staff were really not friendly. There was no way to get a cup of coffee before 7 am The local village burnt fires on Saturday that was really smelling strong the whole night It noted breakfast included, but we were only told upon checkout that continental was the only inclusion and we needed to pay for our “real” breakfast

Summary: The stay was enjoyable and a great weekend away

Negative: Beach needs to be made accessible. No airconditioning in the room, which makes even sheets feel dump. Hotel is too expensive for what it is. 3% additional charge for card payment is unacceptable.

Summary: Nice on photos, but I would be not coming back.

Positive: We loved the staff, everyone was so kind and helpful. We loved the snorkelling off the beach and the sea breeze in the bar area. The extra fan they gave us helped. The shared space and pool is lovely. Continental breakfast was good. Liked the store across the street. Bus availability outside the resort was great to go to town.

Negative: There is no air conditioning at this resort or wifi in the rooms. For this price point, it was a real shocker to us. We were also placed in a back garden room which was stifling hot day and night. The bar area could be expanded or seating reconfigured as there was not enough seating at happy hour in the shade and breeze. The dinner menu could use a few more lighter choices beyond pizza.

Summary: NO air conditioning anywhere / no wifi in rooms

Positive: The beach and snorkelling out the front is lovely. The food at the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast is simple, but good. Deck chairs on the beach in front of the pool is wonderful. Grounds and gardens are pretty. Accommodation is cute. Just like the photos.

Negative: Happy with everything The bathrooms are getting a little old, but they are fine.
