Guest Access:
The world is your oyster...or at least the house and yard. Thereโ€™s also a nice school play area around the corner and tennis courts a stones throw away.
The fireplace never gets used due it's age and location on the outside wall. It is pretty but it is also highly inefficient and the lighting process is cumbersome so for those reasons we ask that the fireplace not be used.
The Neighborhood:
Located in a quiet, beautiful residential neighborhood, and less than a five minute drive north of Downtown Appleton, you will absolutely fall in love with the charm of this home and the surrounding character homes of the neighborhood. Streets lined with tall trees and safe sidewalks in every direction will lead you on nice quiet walks or jogs around the area. THIS is the spot!
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are available. The city bus station is downtown. Plenty of parking for up to 3 cars in the driveway if you have a vehicle. Street parking allowed during the day, and overnight seasonally if the city is notified.

Summary: The house was great! Clean, organized, well appointed for visitors. There is nothing to complain about or nitpick on this one. There was lots of space for our family of 5. Definitely felt like a home away from home.

Summary: We used the full capacity (11 people) of the house for a large family gathering for two nights during a warm spell in July with temps in the mid-80s. It has two floors and a basement, with no bedrooms on the ground floor. At night, the AC in the was too cold in the basement, but too hot on the top floor, with no way to regulate it on both levels. Otherwise the house was perfect, with a lovely backyard, an excellent well-stocked kitchen, and very comfortable living area.

Summary: Overall a good experience. One note, there is only one full bath on the main floor but there is an additional one available in the basement as well. Cute design elements, located on a nice street, close to local attractions. Would stay here again if ever in the area!

Summary: Just fyi instead of twin beds pictured in basement it is two bunk beds. Other than that everything was as expected. It had a lot of nice extras left which was very handy! Overall good experience! Great communication!

Summary: This house worked perfect for our family of 7 to attend a family wedding in Oshkosh. It is very close to the Appleton airport where we picked up our daughter who flew in from Grand Forks, ND. Great location, easy to find. It is an older house with lots of charm that has been updated. Very clean. Mark was a great host.

Summary: This house was ideal for our two family, 9 person group who were in town for a family event in Freedom/Wrightstown. There were even more beds than expected (twin room is actually two single-over-double bunks, perfect for our four young adults). Beds were amazingly comfortable, kitchen and baths were updated, spotless, and fully equipped. We couldnโ€™t have been happier.
