Perfectly tucked in a quiet residential street yet accessible to the busy Magazine Street, one can enjoy the best this city has to offer. This home features an entire bottom floor of living space along with 1 king bedroom and full bath. The upstairs is set aside for the additional 5 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms.
-Each bedroom features a bit of modern luxury with casper mattresses, plush down comforters and both memory foam and down pillows to allow for a good night’s sleep

The Neighborhood:
The Garden District was built in the mid-19th century and is one of the most scenic and wealthy areas of all New Orleans. Lush, manicured trees and grand, historic mansions line the streets, making it an oasis away from the bustle of the French Quarter and perfect for strolling. Find yourself within walking distance to popular Magazine Street which offers both upscale dining, craft cocktails and rare antiques as well as dive bars and eclectic boutiques.
Other nearby attractions include the Audubon Park & Zoo, Lafayette Cemetery, and Commander’s Palace. The French Quarter is a quick 12 minute car ride away. My personal favorite coffee house, Mojo, is right on the corner!
Getting Around:
Many attractions can be enjoyed by foot, but for further adventures, there are plenty of transportation options. There is a nearby blue bike share hub at the northeast corner of Annunciation Center Park. Enjoy a quick 8-minute walk to St. Charles Ave. and you will find the historic streetcar, taking you anywhere from the French Quarter to Audubon Park. Street parking is easy to find if you bring a rental car. Additionally, taxis and ride shares such as Uber and Lyft, also operate heavily in the area.

Summary: The house was everything we expected, and the listing accurately depicts this wonderful space. The heated pool and back patio was luxurious and felt like a resort. The home was much older than we expected (it appears it was built around 1880), but has been updated with all the necessary amenities. We would visit again!

Summary: I booked this based solely on recommendation of a friend who lives in the area, because he felt it was a very safe and walkable location. The photos are accurate. There is a lot of space in the house, but not much functional hang-out space. The front 1/3 of the downstairs is just an entry way and a pool table, followed by a dining table in the next part, and finally the living/family room that has a sectional sofa and a couple chairs for lounging. If the house were filled to capacity there wouldn't be enough room for people to lounge in the family room without crowding on the sofa. The house feels like it was set up as a vacation rental 15-20 years ago and hasn't been touched since. Pros: Great location Clean Hosts had good, proactive communication Beds to sleep a lot of people Pool is probably good, but the weather was too cool for us to use itCons:- Overpriced- Furnishings are worn and tired - sofas are visibly worn- Not enough comfortable lounge space, especially if all bedrooms are filled - Only bedroom on first floor has to use a bathroom on the other side of the living room (and down one stair), not great for older people- Outdated TV

Summary: 8 adults (age 47-86) and 2 kids (9 & 12) had a great time at this property in the lower garden district. Less than a block from Magazine Street, It is a very convenient location from which to visit NOLA's many attractions and fabulous restaurants (by car, streetcar, or Uber) and a great home base for enjoyable walks. Both kids and adults used the heated pool and the pool table, so there was always something to do in between excursions. We had a wonderful time and are glad we picked Bright Villa!

Summary: What a perfect place for a visit to New Orleans! The house is beautifully decorated, with plenty of comfortable spaces for relaxing together. It has everything you could possibly need, including toiletries in the bathrooms. The pool was lovely. The location is great, so close to many popular attractions. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We highly recommend it, and hope to return ourselves.

Summary: We loved the location of this house, close to many shops and restaurants on Magazine street and walking distance to street car line on St Charles. The downstairs was perfect for a group with a huge kitchen and large living room area that is open to the kitchen. The pool area is very pretty and well maintained. As others noted, there was very little outdoor furniture by the pool, although the hosts informed us that they were waiting on an order of new furniture for that area. We really enjoyed the pool table as well. The hosts were responsive to our questions and we had a great stay.
