Positive: Breakfast had a good choice but the hot buffet wasn't always full, bacon missing, scrambled egg missing. Croissants and Danish pastries missing. Treatments we had were excellent. Afternoon tea was good. All staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.
Negative: Sadly there was a power cut that lasted through the best part of the day. We know it wasn't anyone's fault and staff went out of their way to keep us updated and made sure we didn't miss anything we had planned. There was no parking spaces alloted for guests staying in Flint Cottage, where we were. Would have been nice to have had a space by the cottage. That was all we were unhappy with.

Negative: Could be a bit cleaner, but minor details. Drain of the shower also didn’t work properly.
Summary: Had an amazing stay with my son and wished I booked it for 2 nights instead of 1.

Negative: 15 pounds for a Whitley Neill raspberry gin with a splash of lemonade from the pump, served in a tumbler with a cube of ice!

Negative: There were no remote controls for the TV’s in any of the bedrooms and the one in the lounge didn’t even work. In the main double room the bedside lights didn’t work and there was no bedside tables it looked like they’d been taken out. There was no family friendly restaurants to eat in.

Positive: It was close by to the venue of a wedding we was attending at Old Kent Barn.
Negative: The lodges lacked cleanliness and felt grubby, even the clean towels felt dirty. When we arrived all windows were opened which meant lots of insects inside and huge spider found under one pillow. Lack of plug sockets and only one bedside table. The beds were so uncomfortable, by far the worst sleep. We paid £411 for two nights and feel it is not good value for money at all.

Positive: We stayed in a lodge and they were really big. The two rooms were nice and light and the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were great too. Nice little kitchen area and although the pool was small it was still good to have a little swim. Quiet and peaceful. The lady that first greeted up at reception was really nice and friendly. Good location for getting to Dover ferry port.
Negative: Just personal preference but the lodge felt a bit dark out the front.
Summary: Fine for our short one night stay, with nice bedrooms and bathrooms.
