Summary: A very beautiful and historic hotel. The staff were pleasant enough but most forced their smiles, I felt a bit inconvenient for them and less they could do the better. The room was lovely and spacious and offered everything you may need other than a large mirror. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room but I was surprised by the cheap brands they offered. Breakfast was nice and a very good choice. You park your car in front of the hotel so no real parking spots. I did enjoy our stay but for a grand golf hotel they could certainly work on a few things to make it better.

Summary: It could be cleaner. Equipment dated and kettle dirty. Restaurant average and my son ordered pancakes for breakfast, which were disappointing...Staff nice, but slow. I think Broomhouse hotel seen better days.

Summary: The hotel was tired and looked like it needed investment to bring it back to life…..the range of food offered was not enough and not good enough for the prices paid…we this is a perfect example of under investment in a superb location. We think great food gets noticed and word travels quickly …get the food right and funds will come to improve and upgrade ….an opportunity for someone with the money to invest….great food at a price people are prepared to pay.

Summary: Reception staff v helpful. I booked a four poster room as this was all that was available. The building is rambling due to its age but bedroom was comfortable with great views.

Summary: Beautiful building and decor. Very historic, great breakfast. Very good service and nice staff. The only.minor issues would be that our room didnt have mixer taps on washbasin but i guess thats prt of the heirtage look. The mattress in my room caused me to constantly roll to the middle of bed so obviously worn unevenly so perhaps they need to flip the mattresses around every few month. Swimming pool.was good, just wished it had a sauna even if a small.one as pool was not busy. Overall an excellent stay, extremely good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: This was quite the stay! Luxurious building that was classy and beautiful. It looked like a castle on the outside. Inside was spectacular with solid wood molding and gorgeous decor. Our room was huge! The beds were very comfortable and the decor was grand. The views were also spectacular. We didn’t utilize the restaurant but did enjoy a late night drink at the bar. My husband worked out in the gym and enjoyed a brand new rower. The area is remote and the WiFi was spotty but the stay was spectacular.
