I have 3x delightfully restored beach cottages in South Redondo a block from the beach-located on the same grounds as both other beach cottages (BBC1 & BBC3).
The Burnham Beach Cottage(s) was built at the turn of the century originally as a B&B with many cottages......We are a unique property so please feel free to email us with any questions or requests.

This cottage comprises 1 bedroom, living room with comfy queen-size sofa/futon bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with clawfoot tub with shower and grounds where you can BBQ, relax in the grounds or just take in the evening sunsets on your porch. You will be provided with ironed bed linens, bath & beach towels, wi-fi, TV, iron & ironing-board, bath salts so as to enjoy the claw-foot tub to the fullest.
Please note the cottage is ideal for 2 but can accommodate 4. * Nightly rate is based on 2 people sharing
Enjoy the ocean & views within minutes from the cottage. Walk,stroll,jog or ride the coastline path that starts here in Redondo and goes all the way to Malibu; ...easily engage in surfing, swimming, volleyball, walking, running, skating, biking, hiking....there's heaps to do in these beach cities & the list continues....art/food/music festivals, outdoor movies in the parks/on the beach, international volleyball tournaments to watch, or if you would rather just relax in our gardens or on the beach and do nothing... you can do that too...
Varied selection of restaurants/cafes are on hand.
We are a quintessential SoCal beach town,close to LA without being in the hectic-ness of LA. All is easily accessible by freeways, public transportation, sightseeing tours pick-up at local Redondo Beach hotel.

Summary: Burnham Beach Cottages are fantastic. We enjoyed an extremely cosy, homely, and very well equipped rustic cabin, tucked away in a quiet, private oasis, a very short walk from the beach and pier. Katie, Wendy and the management team could not have been more proactive both before and during our 5-night stay, which was faultless. Very much looking forward to staying again in a few monthsโ€™ time.

Summary: We had a great stay and fell in love with the whole vibe of Redondo Beach, or the tiny bit we latched onto for such a short trip. I did suffer an odd spell of โ€œvertigoโ€ while getting ready for dinner since the cottage does lean towards the bathroom. My fiancรฉ reminded me that tile and a claw-foot tub will do that to a place. We found the hummingbirds that danced around in the morning to be so engaging and exciting! Would highly recommend for quick trips.

Summary: Small, but provided everything needed for two. Beautiful breezes day and night blew through the cottage. We enjoyed the gardens. The kitchen was well equipped for 2. Location close to the beach, the pier, restaurants, and in town, yet tucked into a quiet spot on a residential street. Street parking was a little difficult sometimes. But we would stay again.

Summary: We really love it in this place and think we will come back for a week long stay rather than the few days we normally do. Everything here is about the beach and the decor makes you feel you are exactly there. It's a short walk away from the water and there are many garden nooks to put up your feet and just read. Next time, we will make the time to do just that.

Summary: My conversations with Wendy were wonderful. I rented the property for two nights to prepare for my daughters wedding which was taking place in the area. She was very accommodating and somehow arranged it for us to check in early!
