Positive: I really appreciated the contact with the owners, Kirsty & Dylan, before I arrived at Bwthyn Y Bugail, and also that they checked with me to make sure I didn't need any assistance due to the bad weather, which I found very thoughtful. The cottage was beautifully presented with everything you would need for a comfortable stay and stunning views.
Negative: Additional parking isn't great- there is a large lay by approx 1/2 mile back down the road from the cottage where you can park all day/night, however it would be nice for there to be somewhere closer, as roadside parking is not possible. This is not a criticism of the cottage, more of the location.

Positive: This cottage was perfect for us to celebrate a special anniversary near where we honeymooned 35 years ago. We met up with dear friends and spent a wonderful enjoying what the area had to offer from zip wire to local football game. The scenery was out of this world. We will definitely be coming back.

Positive: It was a lovely cottage with all the necessary facilities. It was very clean and in a convenient location so that we could explore North Wales. We were greeted with a welcoming hamper of Welsh delicacies which went down well. Loved the throws in the living room so much so I bought them for my house when I returned.
Negative: Nothing - I think my mum was up for moving in for good lol

Positive: Love how the cottage was furnished and the location, close to the grocery stores and many attractions. We enjoyed the milk and bread basket for breakfast. The beds are comfortable and the backyard has a lovely ambiance.
Negative: Parking can be really tough if you’re not used to parallel parking. The cottage is located on a busy road that makes parking a little tricky depending on the direction you’re going. There are also 3 other car spaces being utilized by the other cottages so the space is limited and a small room for error. However, there’s a layby down the hill for an extra car park.
Summary: Cozy, comfortable and welcoming.
