3 Bedroom Cabin in Ashley Oaks, Knoxville

Located at the heart of Karns, our cabin Hideaway is centrally located, 20 min to downtown Knoxville/UT or 20 min to Oak Ridge.
Wake up each morning in one of our unique beds (1 king, 2 queens, 1 queen pull-out), enjoy a cup of coffee on the wide deck, & visit with loved ones around the fire pit surrounded by a tranquil forest.
As you wind up the hill on our 1/4 mile drive, keep an eye out for the families of turkeys and deer following some of the trails in the surrounding woods. Plus the indoor 6-person hot tub is perfect for relaxing after a busy day of adventuring!
We have a furnished living room, dining room, and 3 bedrooms (1 king upstairs, 2 queens on the main floor). We also have a pull-out queen sofa in the living room. Upstairs is the en-suite full bath with a soaking tub and an additional shower. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is on the main level.
We have approximately 9 acres of wooded hillside between this property and the adjoining private property. You’ll find clearly marked trails to explore the ridge top safely.
The property is truly a “hilltop”. Although the driveway is paved, we recommend no vehicles larger than a pickup truck.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY FOR HOT TUB: The tenant understands that there are special risks involved in the use of a hot tub. Tenant is aware there are potential dangers to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as any person using the hot tub too long or if a person has health risks, is intoxicated, using any kind of drugs or medication, or is pregnant. Tenant agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against Owner of property for accidents or injury arising from use the hot tub. Tenant agrees that he/she is responsible and liable for any damages that occur to the hot tub through their or their guest's misuse or negligence. Should Tenant or Tenant’s guests contaminate the water with dirt, sand, or suntan lotion by not abiding by the rules, Tenant agrees to an additional charge of $300.00 to cover the cost to drain, clean and refill the tub and remediate the contamination to the filtering system. In consideration of my anticipated stay, I agree, intending will be legally bound hereby, that the property owners and their heirs, servants, agents, contractors, and employees shall not be liable for my injury or death, or the injury or death of my invited guests. This Disclosure and Waiver of Liability is incorporated into the Terms and Conditions of my contract through VRBO.

Summary: When this property lists its amenities, they ALL work. It is clean, beautiful, very well stocked in kitchen, and a wonderful place to enjoy our family. They chose to add the extra touches of sound machines, and then there is the hot tub, arcade, billiards and foosball. Best of all, is the immediate communication that you receive with any question. Our entire family was 100% Satisfied. Thank you Kaylee and Frank.

Summary: The check in process was easy and convenient. The host was great about communication and helpful. The home was clean and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and tidy. There were plenty of extra clean linens. When we arrived the house was already warmed, and so was the hot tub. There were all the basic amenities like spices, cookware, coffee...We enjoyed the games and useful local information. The driveway is definitely a drawback, but everything else makes it worth it. The sunroom was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee on a chill morning. The trail was beautiful, we saw deer and lots of other local wildlife on the property. Even my picky teenagers had a great time. 10/10 would recommend for a nice quiet retreat.

Summary: My husband and I brought along some family and friends to visit our daughter at UTK! What a wonderful weekend! The place was clean, the owners were easy to chat with and the house had just about everything we needed! It was very peaceful! We saw deer and turkeys in the backyard which was fun! We wish the hot tub was working. We had packed our suits and had been looking forward to that since we had booked it a while back! One idea may be to have a few more hangers in the closets if possible and maybe a mirror in the one guest room. Obviously these are not deal breakers by any means just some ideas! We loved our stay and made so many amazing memories! We always had a good laugh getting up the driveway! It’s an adventure! We felt like singing the little engine that could song! Haha! So fun! Thank you!

Summary: Five of us stayed here and it worked well for us. It's located about 20 minutes west of downtown Knoxville in a subdivision but didn't feel like it because it's up a huge hill in the woods. Felt very private and secluded for something so close to the city. The house fixtures and furnishings were good. Master bedroom suite upstairs and two smaller bedrooms downstairs. Family room, dining room and kitchen were all open to each other and the family room seating was good for sitting around and watching TV together. Nice place, the pictures accurately depict it. Short walking trails were good and we saw deer and wild turkeys during our stay. Host communicated well. Enjoyed it, would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Summary: We were in Knoxville for a baseball tournament, and we wanted a comfortable place for the 4 to 5 days that we would be there. This place exceeded our expectations. Once you turn into the neighborhood, you may find yourself worrying that it doesn’t look as you expected for this listing. But have no fear, keep driving, and you will come to the driveway that takes you into your tree-top oasis! The owners warned us that we may need to be aggressive with the driveway. I like the word committed. It’s a little bit steep and winding, but that adds to your elevation experience from the world below. Once we got to the top and entered the house, we found it clean, well appointed, and the owners had left chocolate chip cookies and a coffee bar that was ready to go! We found that the home perfect for our needs! Our family enjoyed relaxing in the family room, which had plenty of space for all of us, and we loved the hot tub and pool table. More than once I found my husband sitting in the three season porch area, playing the video game that was in there. Keep an eye out for some huge wild turkeys that like to roam the property. We enjoyed watching them move about the property while enjoying the beautiful natural views. Great property!
