This cabin in beautiful Connestee Falls, gated community provides 2 bedrooms with queen size bed in master and two twins in extra bedroom, 2 full baths with tubs, open livingroom/diningroom/kitchen concept provides a family of 4 comfortable accommodations. A wrap around deck with outdoor table and chairs for nature lovers to enjoy. A fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops will allow meal preparation on days "eating in" is preferred. Washer and dryer located in cabin for renters. Ceramic tile in bathrooms and hardwood through out with area rugs make clean up easy.
Amenities available include 18 hole mountain golf course, swimming pool, 4 lakes for swimming or fishing, park/playground and sand beach for the younger renters, tennis courts, clubhouse and grill room, miles of hiking trails with waterfalls and much more. Wildlife wanders the subdivision such as deer and white squirrels. Asheville and Hendersonville, NC are approximately 40 minutes away. Many day or overnight camps for children are located in the area of western North Carolina/Brevard. Whitewater rafting, cycling, and outdoor venues attract the many visitors. Transylvania County, called the land of the waterfalls, with triple falls, looking glass falls connestee falls all within a short drive from the house. The famous Biltmore home in Asheville is the Vanderbilts retreat with horse stables, winery, and mansion tours. The many Asheville/Brevard/Mills River breweries are also an attraction not to be missed. Downtown Brevard has many restaurants, shops as well as the top 10 toy store in the country, O P Taylors.

Summary: If you are looking for serenity, and who isn't, this is a nice cabin with all the necessities of home in a gated community. Clean and comfortable with and amazing deck, a hiking trail across the street, and Brevard only a few miles away. Both the dog and I enjoyed it and even extended our stay. Great communication with the property owners/managers. Will be back often.

Summary: My elder brother and I came to fish in the Connestee Falls lakes(4)My wife and I some years back owned a home there and thought my aging brother a big trout fisherman would enjoy a few days fishing. The fishing was outstanding also. The Donaldson owners were gracious and their cabin more than well equipped. A double plus !!

Summary: We all enjoyed the vacation in the woods, 20 minutes from Brevard's quaint shopping historic shopping district. We took hikes on the trails of the neighborhood and saw a couple of waterfalls along the way. The open concept living area fit four adults very well.

Summary: We enjoyed everything about are stay here! The cabin was very comfortable, very clean and had everything you possibly would of needed! We loved the location and the gated community was a plus! Close to all the sights we wanted to see! We will definitely be back to this cabin in the near future! The hosts were fantastic and made check-in & check-out very easy! Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Summary: Just returned from a fabulous stay in Brevard! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The communication with Susan was great - from check-in, amenities and things to do. She even left us a goodie bag! The house was spotless, very comfortable and well-stocked. We spent the majority of our time outdoors lounging on the wrap around deck watching the deer frolic. The neighborhood is full of activities which I plan on partaking in at our next visit - tennis, pickleball, kayaking, golfing. We did spend our days hiking at the nearby parks, all of which were within 30 minutes from the house. I would recommend getting groceries on your way up the hill as it is a 20 minute windy drive to get back down. Thank you Susan for allowing us to share your special place - we will be back!

Summary: We loved this little cabin - the owner was super responsive and left us a sweet note and treats. The place was clean and well-equipped. Loved being able to use the pool and have access to hiking, lakes, etc. Perfect location! Definitely recommend staying here if visiting Brevard! We will be back!

Summary: We had a lovely long weekend Susan and Donald's property. Communication was very good and their property was as described. Loved the big deck in the woods which was very peaceful. For adults, the main bed would have been more comfortable if not sagging in the middle. Would also suggest leaving instructions to lock the main door as it's not a conventional lock.
