Come and stay at Gwen’s Cozy Cabin. Our cabin is situated just outside of Rosman, NC nestled on Line Runner Ridge Lake in the mountains.
Great romantic setting for couples!
Our adorable log cabin is a 1 bedroom loft with a queen size bed and a full bath. It is 930 square feet of coziness, constructed of large logs which makes it very unique. Wake up and gaze out at the lake without getting out of bed or better yet, have breakfast in bed, it has a great view from the loft. Enjoy spending days around the cabin, we have fishing (catch and release only), two kayaks and one canoe for lazy trips around the lake. Go swimming right outside your front door to cool down. Bring your dog, there is a large fenced in back yard for hours of play time. Cook on our charcoal grill (charcoal included) and enjoy a great meal at the picnic table or on our large front porch. If you enjoy walking, walk on the many miles of roads on Line Runner Ridge, take a hike in the woods or around the lake. After a long day at the cabin, enjoy the fire pit in the back yard fixing smore's or grab a drink and take a relaxing bath in our old fashion claw foot bath tub with tee light candles. Play some good old fashion board games or just kick back and watch TV. The living room has an electric “old fashion stove” to set the mood. Our unique kitchen is filled with everything you need, from cooking a gourmet meal or just hot dogs, it comes complete with a gas stove and oven, microwave convection oven, coffee maker, coffee, tea pot with soothing tea, toaster oven and a dishwasher.
Want to venture out to sight see? There are so many quaint shops in Brevard, which are only 30 minutes away. Visit the many restaurants and shops in our area. Brevard is the land of waterfalls, hiking, biking, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, golf, tennis, skiing, horseback riding and for the adventurer in you, how about zip lining. Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Park are just 30 minutes from the cabin. Check out www.visitwaterfalls.com .
No worries, if Brevard doesn’t have enough for you, Biltmore House and Grove Park Inn are only an hour away in Asheville. Asheville is a great city to visit for shopping, arts, walks and many parks to visit. You can even hop on the Blue Ridge Park Way, and enjoy the scenery and dine at the Pisgah Inn. Hendersonville, Highlands, Cashiers are just a few more quaint towns that are close to you.
If you enjoy the arts, Brevard Music Center, Flatrock Theater are just 30 minutes away. If interested you can find schedules on their websites.
Need groceries? There is a small grocery store 20 minutes away, in Rosman. But if you are looking for more, Ingles, Food Lion, BiLo are only 30 minutes away in Brevard.

Summary: The cabin was just as pictured and described. Gwen is a wonderful hostess, and she has equipped the cabin with all of the items needed from kitchen appliances, spices, and utensils. Gwen is a great communicator and checked in with us to make sure we arrived safely.The lake is picturesque and she has a canoe and kayaks. The waterfalls in the area are phenomenal. We couldn’t have picked a better place to relax. Definitely worth a second stay.

Summary: Words cannot describe the peace and tranquillity of this property, the property pictures don’t disappoint. The yard and lake are simply perfect! Gwen is very kind and if you forgot it, she has it. Stocked kitchen, bathroom and extra blankets. The radiant flooring is irresistible for warm cozy feet and feel! The porch is perfect for a hot cup of coffee and quite/book while the dog can play around safely in the yard. We loved it !

Summary: Our stay at Gwen‘s cozy cabin was delightful in every way. Gwen was attentive to our every need and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. Our car battery died in the cold weather and Gwen‘s husband Dan came immediately to our rescue so we were able to get on the road home as scheduled. Five star hospitality in all regards! Summary: From the moment we walked into the cabin, we felt so welcome. The attention to detail (personal and to quests) is impeccable. From music playing and candlelight to the personalized gift table, shows how much she cares. The cabin was spotless, both inside and out. Pictures do not due this place justice. It is so cozy and is decorated so well. I absolutely loved the decor, especially her hand made metal art, which she sells. (of course we bought one). Such a nice souvenir. And best of all, we were able to take our dogs. The yard is huge and right at the lake, so they could swim. Tired dogs are happy dogs. The view, spectacular. Qwen thought of everything. You never have to leave-but if you do, she has a quest book that has a list of things to do around the area. This place set the bar pretty high. Will definitely go back.

Summary: From the minute we walked into the cabin, we felt welcomed and at home. The lamps and battery candles were on, and the TV was on a music channel. We booked it for me birthday and Gwen had a birthday banner hanging from the bedroom loft. She also had treats for us and our dogs. Her attention to detail was evident throughout the charming cabin. Even had art hanging under the bathroom sink that you can see when soaking in the tub. We will definitely be back!!!

Summary: Awesome isn’t enough to say about this place. We celebrated our 30th anniversary at the cabin. Gwen made it so special with candle lights on through out the cabin when we got there and some other special effects for our anniversary. Made it So special

Summary: Gwen’s cabin is perfect, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s like walking out of our house and into someone else’s, with a well equipped kitchen, has everything you could possibly need aside from your own food and drink. This has been THE BEST VRBO we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The special welcoming with a basket of goodies specifically dedicated to my husband and I, as well as special goodies and welcome message for our two pups. 🐶 Gwen’s cabin is spacious, comfortable, ( slept so sell ) VERY clean, beautifully decorated, and on the lake. Such a serene setting. The large furnished deck overlooks a gorgeous lawn and lake. Was such fun being able to take our pups and having them safe inside the large fenced lawn. So much to do! Fishing, swimming, canoeing, grilling, and relaxing on the deck. Gwen provides all the gear for these activities! 😎 If you go into the quaint downtown of Brevard, that’s @15 min drive. Loads of shops and restaurants. For outdoor adventures, many places for hiking, fishing, tubing, and photography of gorgeous views @30 min drive. Gwen was great at checking in, and readily available. We are looking forward to returning in the not too distant future 😊

Summary: Gwen is about the easiest & nicest person to work with. Very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The cabin is beautiful and well stocked with anything you need. The property is clean, the bed is very comfortable and the lake is stunning. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pet-friendly, beautiful property.
