Relax in the rocking chairs or swing on the large front porch at The Porter Lake House in Star Point Village, 1.5 miles to Star Point Resort. This 2 bedroom, 2 full bath has room for up to eight guests, including one queen bed in the master bedroom, then a twin bunk bed and a twin/full/trundle bed in the second bedroom. There's also a pullout futon in the living room for additional sleeping room if needed. A full kitchen is ready to make your own meals. Because we take coffee seriously :) , there is a regular coffee maker and a Keurig available. The large back deck has a gas grill, hammock and table that overlooks the surrounding woods for relaxing. This is a comfortable cabin for family getaways or for couples who want a place to relax after a day at the lake. Stackable washer/dryer with laundry soap is available for use. Come relax near the lake!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the Porter Lake Cabin this past weekend. Beautiful setting, tidy and comfortable cabin with everything you need. The only glitch was the internet wasn't working initially, but Robin and Michelle responded immediately and it was back up within 30 minutes. They clearly want their guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay, and it shows!

Summary: The road leading to the cabin is 7 miles and very curvy and lots of hills. Take all you need for grocery’s . Star point is close to launch the boat but you don’t want to drive to sunset everyday
