Positive: We were looking for a perfect, up north getaway and this place was perfect. We arrived after dark and were immediately struck by the absolute quiet stillness. We stood and looked at the sky and stars for hours. We didn’t even go inside for a while. There was no traffic or city sounds at all. The three days we were there felt like a two week vacation from our busy lives and it was exactly what we needed. Donn was an excellent and friendly host who offered up suggestions for places to go and hike and thought of everything you could need or want in a cabin like this. We stayed up doing a big puzzle together and enjoyed watching nature. We saw deer, turkey, and birds galore. Would definitely recommend staying here if it’s available and we hope to return ourselves.
Negative: There was really nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Positive: We saw a gaggle of turkeys, 1 momma deer with 2 babies every day. It was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed.

Positive: The place was very clean. The house had a warm inviting atmosphere. We loved the fire pit and just the solitude of the place. We had the ability to go for walks or even long drives.
