Positive: Location was great in that it was right outside the chaos of central Sedona, but still close to restaurants and shops. The inside was super cozy and homey. The layout was great for 4 people to fill comfortable and not cramped. We also enjoyed using the fireplace on the cold night.
Negative: It would have been helpful to have ice trays as the ice maker did not work. Also, the live tv was a bit of a challenge to navigate. It was hard to find just the regular channels to watch.
Summary: Would happily stay here again!

Negative: One of the reasons we chose this property was it said pool and hot tub. However it is seasonal and this wasn’t the season. If we had know that we would not have booked it. I would also never use Vacasa again. One of the first emails from them said I would receive information a week ahead re: check in, directions etc. when it was less than a week before arriving I called and was told I would get information one day before. When it was the day before and I still was need directions, the answer I got was you will have to call the person in charge of the property. I called Kevin Scheel and left a message but did not get a reply. The downside was as were arriving at night using our GPS it took us to the main gate but then it doesn’t tell you how to get to the unit we rented. We drove around and around in the dark trying to find it. We called the site manager Kevin and luckily he answered and over the phone directed us to where the unit was. I don’t understand why they couldn’t give us written directions. I actually was getting concerned that VACASA was a scam. Also the Vacasa app was useless. When I called Vacasa they couldn’t help me to get any information from the app other than I paid and signed the lease. Under the heading Driving Directions, all it says is door lock code will be the last four digits of your phone number. The correspondence they sent was so mixed up and disjointed with incorrect information. When we got to the unit that evening there was actually 2 different locks, it was never mentioned you use the one actually on the door. It also said in their correspondence to me that”Don’t forget to check out the amenities such as hot tub access, pool access”.
Summary: Unit is nice but do not use VACASA.

Positive: The unit was clean , ready for us on time and suitable for our needs.
Negative: A couple of minor issues, the soap dispenser in the hall bath is broken and should be replaced, kitchen dishes and glasses are abit skimpy. Not a big thing. Downstairs a little dark, could use more color.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay and all of the issues mentioned were minor.

Positive: Location: this place is just outside Sedona, so you have access to all the beauty of Sedona but you avoid a lot of traffic issues. The place is clean, well stocked in kitchen tools and appliances. Upstairs bedrooms are good size. The primary bedroom with designated bathroom are a great perk.
Negative: The place does not really have a view, except one bedroom upstairs that has two single beds. The TVs are decent, but difficult to operate, likely because batteries in remotes need to be replaced. I saw a few small cockroaches scampering about at night. The shower curtains appear old and unclean. I guess the bed sheets are synthetic, because there was a lot of static electricity coming from them.
