Newly updated walkout basement apartment- part of a hidden cabin on Jenkins pond near Falmouth, MA. Enjoy beautiful views, lush gardens, paddle boarding, trolling around lake, fishing, and cocktail hour on the dock. Centrally located to great beaches and all points on the Cape, plus great shopping, restaurants, and more. Easy access to ferries for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket.
This is a very private property on 4 acres and located down a quiet dirt road. The apartment has water views, private patio, walk out to dock. A sanctuary to relax.
Bedroom- 1 queen memory foam bed with twin bunk beds
Queen-sized futon in living area.
Apologies that it is buried in house rules section- we only allow up to 4 adults, with 2 children for a total of 6.
Notes:
House has spiral staircase inside (leads to main floor but will be blocked off at the top for privacy). Families with small children should consider if that is okay for them. See photo.
Owners live on site in main portion of the house. Apartment features a private entrance and privacy from residents, though property, including yard, dock, and other recreational amenities (boat, paddle boards, etc.) will be shared with owners.
The owners have two dogs. They may bark when outside playing and when people are coming and going. We ask that you do not approach them at the fence.

Summary: We had an incredible time at this lovely, tucked-away property in Cape Cod. Sean and Lyndsey were friendly and responsive, with helpful recommendations and support throughout the stay. The apartment itself is lovely and was plenty of space for our family of three. The highlight of the property is definitely the access to the lake! Our toddler loved sitting on the dock in the early mornings to look for the ducks and splashing around the lake or cruising in the boat in the afternoons. There were plenty of beaches and restaurants easily accessible to the house, and it was a great homebase for trips to Provincetown and Martha's Vineyard during our stay. We had a wonderful time and would be happy to stay here again!

Summary: The property was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations. The property owners were friendly and helpful. It’s a great spot out of the way but close enough to all that Falmouth has to offer. Plenty of space for our family of 5. We would happily go back.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodations were fine for the three of us and our hosts very accommodating. The picture on the site from the dock says it all--there are no gas motors allowed on the pond, so it is very peaceful, if you choose to stay on site. If not, Falmouth is a short drive away to restaurants and shopping, as is the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and the Shining Sea bike path that can be ridden from to the tip of the cape (Woods Hole - about 7 miles round trip from Falmouth).

Summary: Sean and Lyndsey were very welcoming and hospitable. We enjoyed being able to sightsee during the day and return to a peaceful pond to relax, read, paddle board and swim. Sitting on the dock reading after a day of sightseeing was so relaxing. We miss it already! A true place to unwind and just enjoy summer. Thank you!

Summary: Sean and Lindsay’s rental was everything and more. Very clean and comfortable! We loved how close to everything it was but we felt the peace and calm of staying right on the water! We enjoyed Martha’s Vineyard and downtown shopping and eating of Falmouth and also hours on the water enjoying swimming and paddle boarding! Very nice stay and we would definitely stay again.
