Charming updated home in the Maravista section of Falmouth. 5 minute walk to the Great Pond and Bristol Beach is .8 miles down the road. Flat walk or bike ride will get you there in no time! I recommend taking the pond path for a beautiful view on the way to the beach. Want to be near downtown? You are! A 5 minute uber or a 10 minute bike ride and you're in the heart of Downtown Falmouth. Bring your boat/kayak/paddleboard. Lots of launches nearby and space in the driveway.
Highlights: Take advantage of the new outdoor shower when you get back from the beach or hang by the fire pit. There is also a deck with table and additional seating next to a grill for your seafood feast! The house is fully updated with central A/C, new windows, updated bathroom and a beautiful fully equipped kitchen. There is an all in one washer/dryer for your use. All dishes, pots and pans, glasses and cutlery will be there for you. Off the kitchen is a great round table for you to sit around and eat or play games. The 2 bedrooms are set up adorably. There is a queen in one and a bunk bed in the other. The bottom bunk is a full size bed with a twin above and a twin trundle below.
The highlight for me is the incredible sunroom off the kitchen. There is a couch and tv and small table for your family to enjoy even more space. If you want to hang inside there is a new 55" tv with many of the streaming channels already set up for your enjoyment. There will be a binder on the table for you with great tips for you to enhance your stay. From where to rent bikes, to which fish market I recommend and different restaurants I love. Due to COVID, please bring your own bedding and towels.

Summary: The house was very comfortable and super-clean. The host was responsive and so nice. We could walk to the Great Pond and Falmouth Heights Beach, and other beaches, restaurants and the bike trail were a 5 minute drive. We had a great time and were sad to leave.

Summary: We loved this adorably decorated and clean cottage! It has everything you need from, outdoor patio chairs, yard games, grilling, all kitchen needs to comfortable beds. TV's in each room was a plus. Great location, close to beaches and downtown restaurants. We can't wait for next year! TY

Summary: A lovely two bedroom house with a fenced back yard and large front deck. Located near the beach and a great walking path along the Great Pond. Melanie was a pleasure to rent from, and very quick to respond. We will definitely be back!

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful stay at Melanie’s beautiful cottage in Falmouth! The property and home was perfect for my young family- we loved the amenities including the gas grill and great deck, the outdoor shower, and the fenced in yard with a fire pit. The beach and beautiful pond, perfect for the kids, was super close by, which made it so easy! The home is clean, well decorated and comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked! We would highly recommend this property and hope to be back soon!

Summary: The property was perfect. Beautifully maintained and plenty of room. The outdoor shower and the fire pit were delightful! The kitchen had just about everything you could need. The owner left a list of restaurant recommendations that were all fantastic. Great place for our dog and loads of bike riding. The ferry to MV was 5 minutes away. I can't wait to come back!!

Summary: My husband, myself and our 2 year-old daughter had a wonderful time at Melanie’s cottage. Perfectly located, we walked to the beach and the great pond. We were close to downtown and got some ice cream there. We rented bikes with a trailer and biked to woods hole for the day on the shinning sea bike path. It was awesome! We just followed all of Melanie’s recommendations (which she prepared a great booklet for) and had a great time! What a gem ❤️❤️❤️❤️
