4 Bedroom House in Harbourview, Dartmouth

Newly renovated and located on a large double lot in the heart of Dartmouth. Two levels, the main floor has a living room, a new modern kitchen with all new appliances, a TV/entertainment room, two bedrooms, a full bathroom with walk in shower and main floor laundry. The top level has two bedrooms and a full bathroom.
LOCATION: 10 minutes or less to the following:
- Burnside Industrial Park /Dartmouth Crossing 5km /7min
- Downtown Halifax 5km/10min
- MicMac Mall 3km/5min
- Groceries (Sobeys), Bars/Restaurants, Recreation/Gym (Sportsplex) within 1km
SLEEPS up to 8 people: Four separate/private bedrooms. Three bedrooms with queen size beds and one bedroom with a double Murphy bed. Also a fold out Futon bed in the TV room.
PARKING 4-6 vehicles: Flat 100' x 30' gravel driveway with parking for 6 plus vehicles (plus a trailer, etc.)
Please note: the building has a separate self contained basement apartment with its own side entrance and outside area.

Summary: Lovely and immaculate home that was close to everything. The hospitality of the hosts was amazing. We arrived to a home that was clean, inviting, and ready for us to enjoy a lovely stay. Portable ACs were already set up and running to cool the bedrooms during the heat of August. The home was as advertised and everything was thought of so we could have a stress free stay. Definite 5 out of 5 stars. This will be our choice of where to stay for any future trips to the Halifax area. We highly recommend this great property as a home away from.home.

Summary: All of our family (5 adults and one 6 year old) enjoyed our stay at this property. It is centrally located and easy to access highways to visit attractions out of the Halifax area. The Dartmouth side of the city is a bit quieter but only a 10 minute drive to downtown Halifax to visit all of the major sites. Also close to many restaurants on both sides of the harbor. The street outside the property is a bit busy but nothing that caused a concern when entering or exiting the driveway. Lots of good information was available from the host on places to see or recommended food options Highly recommend this property.

Summary: This vacation home has many good things going for it. The location is very convenient and safe. Although it is on a busy road, the traffic slowed considerably once evening came; we all slept soundly even with the wondows open. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Inside the house, things are updated, there are many beds, lots of linens and the kitchen has a nice pantry. This property has good accessibility for people who have mobility issues. There is only one step into the house and the main floor has two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. There are two more bedrooms upstairs that share a bathroom with jacuzzi tub. There's also an extra sitting room with futon. Lots of options in this house.
