Positive: Isaiah in the mornings serving the breakfast was phenomenal. He always had the food fresh and hot. The breakfast room was always clean. Above all of that he was the most personable person that we have met in a really long time. Isaiah took the time to know us a little bit and even gave some great tips on places to see that we would like on vacation. He is always smiling and you can tell that he truly takes pride in helping others. Isaiah, Jenn, Rob and Steve from Perry Ohio say thank you for all you do and making new friends. The day of check in there was a gentlemen at the desk. very nice as well. when we got to our room the toilet seat was broken. I called the front desk and he was right on it trying to help fix it until the maintenance people came at 5. the issue was resolved even the toilet now sits pretty low for a handicap room
Negative: Saturday and Sunday there was a shorter lady with blonde hair running the desk. she was not very helpful at all. the first encounter I asked for pool towels. She stated we keep them in the pool area in the brown dresser. Well, I got in there and for the second day in a row there was none. had to go back to the desk again to get them. After swimming I called down to the desk for some more bath towels. I was told she could not bring them because she was slammed at the desk. I went right back down to the desk to grab them myself; she was not even around and not one guest was even at the desk. that is not slammed. The morning of check out I went down to check out and she acted like it was a real bother to help me even though there were even three young girls with her at the desk. Finally, I did get my paper copy of my receipt. On Wednesday when we checked in there was housekeeping in the hallway. Upon entering the room there was no bathmat or wash cloths. I also knew I was going to need extra bath towels for I have really long hair. I went down to them and asked for these items and was told they need my dirty ones. I explained I just checked in s therefor there was no dirty ones available. I then was told that I need to go to the front desk for help even though they were right there. smoking: big sign says 25 feet from all entrances. the housekeeping staff did not fallow this seeing as how they smoke right outside the door. Guests on the other hand were fallowing this very well. As a non-smoker and a fellow housekeeper and room inspector I just could not believe this to be allowed. The door to the pool room for the handicapped ramp also does not work even with the key. We actually were told that they were not sure when maintenance was even going to fix it. First floor far door entrance does not even lock even thought the sign says key access only. good numbers are only given because of the front desk clerk and Isaiah being so helpful and friendly

Positive: The staff were great, hotel was clean, wifi was stable and continental breakfast was decent.
Negative: The TV was older and not connected to the Internet even though it had Ethernet cable capability. The TV remote had option for Netflix and Prime but couldn't be used because no Internet connected to it. The furnishings were clean and fairly well maintained but definitely aging.
Summary: For the price point, I wasn't unhappy but would try similar priced hotel in the area first next time

Positive: Everything. The tub is the largest one I've personally seen in a jacuzzi suite.
Negative: The constant sound of banging outside after 9pm. Unsure if it was fireworks or what exactly. Some of the boys in the lobby were a little loud (our room was directly above the lobby and our door opened out looking at the lobby)
