Summary: My wife and I had a similar photography trip to Manteo last fall, but wanted to stay somewhere outside of the dense timeshares and multi family settings, which drove my initial search in the area. Found this great standalone cottage that was perfectly set up for our stay and in a great location. The owner communication was great and for the first time in over a dozen VRBO rental experiences, we were actually greeted by the owner. Tod was very welcoming and the property was everything it was advertised to be. Made a perfect ‘Home Base’ for trips to Alligator River NWR, Pea Island and Lake Mattamuskeet. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: My sister and I found this property to be the perfect spot for a nice getaway at the Outer Banks. The house was extremely clean and the communication with Tod was very clear and helpful. We enjoyed walking around the historic neighborhood and found the location to be very close to everything we wanted to do.
