This is a great home for wedding parties as we are close to popular wedding venues.

Summary: The house was really clean and comfortable and in an awesome location. It is a very easy walk to all downtown Manteo has to offer. There was plenty of space for everyone from my 12 year old to my dad to spread out and enjoy. We especially enjoyed the front porch with its fan and afternoon shade. Woody’s is pet friendly and set up really well for pets. We loved our time there. Sue is great if you have any questions.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Woody’s Cottage! 20 minutes to Coquina Beach, a very short walk to downtown Manteo, and a short drive to Kill Devil Hills and Nags Head. The home has a lot of space for a large family and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a great meal. The fenced-in front and backyard were perfect for our dog.

Summary: We had a great stay at this vacation home. It was walking distance to all the shops in town. Our family and kids enjoyed everything about it, including the hot tub. Definitely would stay here again!

Summary: House was very clean and like being at home. Everything was fabulous and we loved the hot tub. When we come back to the area, we will stay here again!

Summary: We have rented this home before and I am always welcomed by such touches of this home! The porches the Coast Guard memorabilia, full stocked house is just a special place for anyone who rents this home. I have thoroughly enjoyed each time I've been here - the location can't be beat and the fenced in yard was just perfect! Thank you Sue and Carl Woody!

Summary: Great house. Was not satisfied with cleanliness texted owner and she said she would send cleaning crew back over. Told her not to worry about it and we cleaned it ourselves. Pricey with the cleaning fees and all but whatever. We did check in early, 11am but would rather had the "short staffed cleaning crew" work and extra five hours and clean better for us until our actual check in time. After that initial pain the house was actually lovely and we did chat with owner and she was very nice as well. It was the only house on the block whose yard wasn't mowed as the grass was high. Pet friendly, maybe too much though. Place smelled like dog and had pet hair all over couch covers and rugs in bedroom. We limited our Yorkie to the hardwood kitchen area. I hate to leave negative remarks but if someone gets paid to clean it should get done. I believe my wife should have got the cleaning fee that i paid. All and all hope this helps rectify the situation for the owners sake, a shame to get bad reviews cause her workers are not doing a good job.
