Positive: Free EV charging and garaged parking. Location is right in Katoomba and shops are right in front so you can just walk out for dinner. Realised the train station was nearby as well.

Negative: Entrance was a little hidden since it's right beside the main road. Squeaking floor boards in the room, but it did made the stay more mysterious.

Negative: Not one thing I can think of that I didn’t like about the Carrington.

Positive: Location was perfect and very helpful staff who were knowledgeable about various hikes.

Negative: Given toiletries in bathroom could have had a body lotion as not all people have the available luggage to pack those extra luxuries when travelling. Just a thought.

Summary: Loved being in a comfortable, historic building to rest and recover in on our stay.

Positive: I had a quiet luxurious room. The views from the grand balcony were exceptional. Below me was the garden. I looked down on the roof tops of the town and beyond to the dramatic sandstone escarpment.

Negative: Painters ladders and equipment were visible in the hallway of the first floor were I stayed. Renovations were ongoing the following morning.

Summary: It was fun to step back in time in this grand hotel.
