At Casa Anonna you will enjoy spacious accommodations with breathtaking views, a private pool, expansive and secure gated property for total privacy, an oasis nestled on a hillside away from the hustle bustle of town and tourists in the midst of authentic Vieques neighborhood but still only 5-10 minutes from all the essentials and beautiful beaches.
Casa Anonna is conveniently located on this beautiful small island in the residential neighborhood of Monte Santo, which is mid-way between the two main towns, Esperanza and Isabel Segundo. Its location makes for easy and quick access to all shopping, dining, nightlife, sight seeing and beaches. (Some mode of transportation is strongly recommended.)
From the moment you step foot on the grounds, you will marvel at the spectacular panoramic views of the Caribbean from the unit and your private spacious veranda. You look out upon the northern portion of Vieques and the coast line of Puerto Rico while enjoying your meals, cocktails and your extensive quiet time with refreshing island breezes.
The expansive property is located in a safe and friendly neighborhood but is still secured by a perimeter wall and locked gated entry. Ultimately providing you extra security and privacy to enjoy the exceptional views.
When you explore the grounds you will encounter tropical plants such as Birds of Paradise as well as numerous palm, avocado, banana, papaya, coconut, mango and tamarind trees.
Central to the property is a large private swimming pool with lounge chairs to relax in while taking in the views and perhaps catching an iguana steal a drink from the pool.
***PLEASE TAKE NOTE*** The property consists of three units and this rental post is for the second level of the property. Each unit has its own private entrance and the position of each one makes it feel like a private home.
THIS IS THE MIDDLE LEVEL (2nd Floor) UNIT - with two bedrooms and one full bathroom. There are a total of 3 beds (1 queen and 2 twins.) Sleeps 4 -5 children/adults. There is space for a crib in the bedrooms. There is a twin bed size rollaway available for one additional guest on request only.
The unit has:
- A fully stocked kitchen with cookware and all of the large and small appliances you will need to have the ability to make any or all of your meals at home.
- A living area has all of the essentials you will need for a comfortable stay. There are ceiling fans through out, flat screen TV with DVD player, Dish Network access and WiFi.
- A private veranda/patio with dining table, lounge chairs, ceiling fans and gas grill.
- Each bedroom has an AC unit to ensure a comfortable nights sleep if the breezes and ceiling fans aren't enough. The AC only operates from 4:30PM to 9:00AM and will only keep the bedrooms cool. This unit is not fully air conditioned, if that’s what you require then my home will not work for you.
- Access to 2 beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, and a small soft insulated cooler and jug to keep lunch/snacks/drinks cold!
*** In event of a power outage each unit has a small generator available to power the refrigerator, fans and small appliances. There are also 2 large cisterns for backup water supply.***

Summary: House has beautiful views and a nice pool. the location is really good - close to Esperanza, quite away from others. You should be comfortable with cats and dogs as the owner keeps a few around. The owner and property manager could very easily show more generosity to guests with small kitchen investments and cleanliness. Kitchen is only barely equipped, bathroom wasn’t thoroughly clean, moldy shower curtain, not enough towels. Easy stuff to correct and I hope they do.

Summary: A wonderful hillside location, amazing view, and just a few driving minutes to Esperanza. The pool was clean and an added bonus. Be ready for some nighttime animal serenades -- the roosters and local dogs all around the island can be a bit noisy.

Summary: We had a WONDERFUL stay here and will return one day! Tyler was AMAZING to work with. He gave us so many spot on recommendations for places to get authentic food, specific recommendations for beaches for different experiences - crowds, types of shells, currents, etc. and it made our trip! We loved having the expansive grounds with the huge open air veranda. We had the best breeze through the place and the view from on top of the hill was amazing. We loved having Mr. Dingles and the rest of the animal crew. Thanks for your hospitality! Can't recommend enough!

Summary: It’s all about the views. The property is high in the middle of the island. The spacious covered veranda is large, well equipped with ceiling fans…I could sit out there for days.

Summary: My husband, two sons and I were fortunate to experience Vieques from Elizabeth’s lovely family home situated on a beautifully landscaped property with gorgeous views of the water and surrounding area. Tylar, the on-site caretaker, welcomed us warmly and had many helpful suggestions for all of our activities on the island. We were very grateful for his insider tips which led to a number of memorable experiences and just made things easier with the kids. The boys loved exploring the grounds, and had fun looking for all the semi-resident and roaming animals (dogs, cats, chickens, roosters, lizards, iguana)! We spent several afternoons and evenings either relaxing by the pool or enjoying the beautiful view from the back patio. We enjoyed several nights out at local restaurants, many of them suggested by Tylar. Plenty of good food and much to see for such a small island. We hope to someday return!

Summary: Great destination for a family vacation. The verranda is amazing. The property comfortable. Loved that there was no TV! The pool is nice. Laundry great. Location perfect for launching to different beaches (with a car!). Note: Take the ferry to the island and stay as long as you can there are so many great beaches and restaurants too.

Summary: My family of 4 stayed in the 2nd floor unit for spring break. We absolutely loved our visit, but just wish it could have been longer. We spent so much time on the spacious covered deck at sunrise and sunset. The deck has spectacular views of Isabel Segunda and even 'the mainland.' The roads leading to the house are quite steep, so we were glad to have rented a jeep. The pool and its setting are so relaxing after a day at the beach. The space is well appointed-- the kitchen is large and has what you need. We appreciated the mini-split a/c in the bedrooms. One note is that, when turned on, the light from the mini-split display is a little bright. We appreciated having sleep masks. I also utilized ear plugs when the island roosters seemed to be crowing extra-vigorously to the almost-full moon! Tylar, the on-site property manager, was very communicative before our arrival. It was nice to have someone around who could give tips on restaurants, grocery stores, etc. After our trip he went so far as to mail me a sweatshirt I'd left behind at the pool! We would gladly return to this spot-- the views, the deck, the pool, and the central location were fantastic.
