At less than 500m from the stunning coastline of the picturesque fishermen’s village of Carvoeiro and its main street locally known as restaurant hill, Casa Canto dos Búzios is an unexpected oasis of tranquillity.
Set atop roughly 4ha of land, this incredibly spacious villa boasts the elegant flair of a picturesque boutique hotel, where a mix of noble and country styled old English furniture is tastefully combined with exquisite typical Portuguese tiling in vibrant colours.
With gorgeous panoramic sea views throughout, the ground floor comprises a large entrance hall, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, grand living room, 4 large twin bedrooms and built-in wardrobes, 5 bathrooms (2 of which ensuite).
The first floor comprises another large twin room with a wardrobe and private balcony, which, through a corridor with built-in wardrobes, shares a bathroom with the master bedroom, featuring a walk-through closet and sofa facing the private terrace, complete with sunbeds, several seating options and a sunshade.
All bedrooms are equipped with air-conditioning and fitted with led mood-lights, also found in the dining and living room, which allow setting a very personal atmosphere.
The well-designed south-facing outdoors offers several covered terraces around the pool area, featuring a brand new pool with built-in benches and lounger, a pool bar, two separate shower rooms, a cosy sitting corner with a built-in barbecue, a separate gas-fuelled barbecue and plenty of sunbeds and seating options.

Summary: The property is amazing. It is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos. We paid for the pool to be heated and it was perfect. The outside space was so lovely and we spent most of our time out there. The inside spaces are very big and the beds were so comfortable, we all slept very well. It was like living in a hotel! The property is about 15 mins walk down to the town centre with lots of shops and restaurants on the way and several nice places to eat just 5 minutes walk away. The boardwalk and the caves were lovely to visit and we also walked further east along the coast one day. Communication with the housekeeper was excellent and any issues immediately rectified. I absolutely recommend this villa, it was so lovely and I would love to go back one day.
