Positive: This boutique hotel was located on the outskirts of a small city where there were few choices. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and tidy and it provided a warm shower! You could really tell that the owner's take pride in hosting their guests and it is located in a little valley about 2.5 miles from the city center. It was a very pretty and serene setting. Melissa was great to communicate with through Whatsapp.
Negative: We knew that this was out of the way from the main city center of this little village, however we were a bit surprised at the dirt the road and how remote this location was. The directions were a little difficult to follow to get to this location. Thankfully we had a hired driver who was able to guide us there. The breakfast was nice, but there was no variety or much substance, only a piece of bread and eggs and juice which we had no choice to.
Summary: Clean and quiet location, the owners are awesome!

Positive: Melissa was so kind and helpful, sorted out a wifi hotspot through her phone. The hotel was exactly right for a visit to Palcoyo rainbow mountain.
Negative: There's no avoiding that the hotel is several miles up a dirt track.

Positive: The location is beautiful, in the middle of a great landscape, during the night you can observe many stars. Our host Giannella was so friendly, she explained many things about the region, the local culture and their very impressive family background to us. Nearby you can visit the rainbow mountains of Palccoyo (around one hour by taxi). It is a really good alternative to stay at least one night at Casa Chillituppa, instead of going there and back from Cusco in only one day. Really recommended to everyone, who is interested to experience Peru in its original way.
