Positive: Fantastic central location close to a great cafe Casa da Barreira (although it was closed this time) and also the swimming pool and the beautiful Jardim da Verbena. Also very short walk into town centre with supermarkets and restaurants. Heating was very welcomed and shower was excellent. Everything lovely and clean. Really appreciated the Dulce Gusto coffee machine.

Negative: There is no outside space like a courtyard, garden or balcony to sit in the sun. It is noisy as street facing so I had to use ear plugs to sleep. There are no curtains, blinds on or fly screens on the windows so when you open the electric shutters everyone on the street can see you and window is open wide - no privacy or security. There was no “Welcome” book to explain anything about the property for example where to take the trash or recycling and no personal message from the proprietor. Feels a little impersonal.

Summary: I was only visiting a friend in Sao Bras for 3 days and this property was perfect for a single person on a budget, close

Negative: WiFi good. shower excellent excellent. And good heating available if needed

Positive: Had to stay for work and it was one of few option. Big house and heater in bedroom is really good.

Negative: I feel like services and hospitality can be improved, host attitude didn’t make me feel like wanting to come back
