The wood-burning stove offers the opportunity for warm fires on the odd winter evening. The views are simply stunning as the terrain has been brought into the living space.

Summary: This is our 3rd visit to Leaf Mountain. We love the location and the property overall. As soon as we arrive we feel relaxed. The rooms are always beautifully clean and the pool is amazing. All the ingredients for the perfect relaxing holiday.

Summary: Had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely villa and pool close to Sao Bras Aportel and it’s numerous very good cafes and restaurants. Nicely modernised property with excellent bathrooms/showers. Very quiet location and secluded.

Summary: This was third visit to Leaf Mountain. If you need a break from the stresses of everyday life, we can recommend this villa. Here, in this spacious villa one can relax & recuperate in privacy & comfort, with only a short distance to the many & varied restaurants in Sao Bras. We hope to return.

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay here. Villa very well equipped with excellent bathrooms and entertainment facilities. Sao Brás is quiet and pretty with other lovely places nearby to visit making it a great base for exploring. Peaceful, private and just what we needed with the most beautiful views both day and night. Loved watching the sun go down on the patio with a drink. Looking forward to returning which says it all. Super efficient hosts with easy check in and comprehensive instructions. All in all a lovely stay. Thank you!

Summary: Just returned home from 12 days at Leaf Mountain, where we stayed for the first time. We have been holidaying in the Sao Bras region for 20 years and have good knowledge of various villas within this area. I can assure you in all the time spent in the Algarve, we have never slept as well as on this trip. This was down to a few things. Firstly the high quality of beds, which are so comfortable it was easy to drop off, the spacious lay out of all bedrooms, the quality of the air conditioning and the remote setting of the Villa. The pool area is lovely, spacious and private and not overlooked at all, and with electric gates is very secure. The whole villa layout is very spacious and maintained well. We would highly recommend this villa to friends and acquaintances, and are already planning our next visit.

Summary: A lovely villa on the outskirts of town. Lovely views over the valley. Nice large bedrooms, comfy lounge, modern bathrooms with great showers. The private pool is not overlooked and the terrace with table is great for outdoor dining. This was our 2nd visit and we have booked for next year too.

Summary: Our second visit to this villa with 3 beautiful bathrooms, mountain views to the south and security behind automatic gates. Very private pool surrounded by interesting and well maintained gardens. Almost walking distance to the supermarket ( but a car will be required for the numerous restaurants in Sao Bras). Easy drive to Loule, Estoi, Faro and the coast without using the Autoroute. Paulo never seen, but very helpful on the phone.

Summary: We stayed 9 nights in April and found Leaf Mountain to be a very enjoyable location for a relaxing family holiday in a private and pleasant rural setting. Floyd and Paulo both responded promptly to queries and helped make our stay very enjoyable. We look forward to possibly returning for another holiday at some point in the future.

Summary: Very nice property, clean and tidy. Had a few problems which Paulo resolved quickly and efficiently . Just a few niggles… As a family of 5 the patio table was too small and only had 4 chairs . Had to keep bringing a chair out of the kitchen at meal times.. Also no shade around the pool. We did contact the host to be told the awning was supplied as shade . We did feel this wasn’t sufficient. There were parasols but the bases were not compatible. Anne
